I have been a fan of Vasilis for many years! He is a loyal man to his customers always treating them with the highest regard and gratitude. The food is delicious and very very generous, well priced, and this new Resturant in Kenmore is both lovely to sit in and enjoys a warmth rare in family style dining. The service excellent and many creations are those passed down as the family tradition. The music is lovely and it’s nice in a calming atmosphere–(I’m so sick of rock pop in restaurants blaring music so you can’t even hear your dining companions and everyone talking loud and louder and loudest.). The family loves the business and is always grateful for customers and it shows in the food, portions, and service. I’m avoiding the places who run business first that make a customer feel lucky to be in their Resturant — sadly the tenor of other restaurants in town started by an owner immigrant and ruined by self centered sons — of children. Not here– Vasilis and his dear wife are there tending you the customer with care sharing as family the best for their customers. Great parking in the back so — go enjoy!

Prior to today I had gotten take out twice and was happy both times. Our party of five arrived at around 6PM and were we seated promptly. My 88 year old MIL uses a walker but had no issues entering Eggsperience Vasilis. We chose to order the Spanikopita ala carte, and the Tirokafteri as appetizers. Both were great, especially the Tirokafteri — a blend of feta, roasted peppers, and olive oil. In fact the Tirokafteri alone would compel me to return to this establishment. Four of us ordered the Greek Souvlaki dinner and my MIL ordered the seafood combo with shrimp, scallops, and fish. Five thumbs up! As we were boxing the leftovers, our waitress offered us complementary bowls of rice pudding. Even though we were stuffed, three of us gave it a go. Sweet and light… mmmmmm good. Most Greek restaurants are deli style, but this is a bit more refined. Plus the music is authentic Greek music which adds to the ambiance. No booze is served, but one may bring wine into the restaurant. They serve dinners only on Wed through Sat. That is, the only days that dinner is served is on those days. Breakfast and lunch are available on all days that it is open. Check before you go, because I went there last month on a Tuesday for lunch but they were closed. If you have a hankering for Greek food, this is your restaurant. We will return often.

Updated 1÷15÷16: Okay it was was better tonight. Stopped in for takeout and waited about 10 minutes for somebody to cash me out but it was obvious that they were short staffed(and not pleased about it) and the server who finally did cash me out was very apologetic. My souvlaki salAd was great and my husband’s gyro wrap with potatoes was«awesome but not as good as elmwood or main Street Vasilis». So… I suppose they’ve redeemed themselves.

I really want to like this place because it’s so adorable on the inside and I think it’s a nice addition to the Delaware Ave area. However, my first experience here was just«A-OK.» I came on a Sunday morning for brunch and although it was pretty busy we were seated right away. This was the first and only time where our service was quick. It took forever for our order to be taken and forever for our food to come. Although our waitress was super friendly and apologetic. And I understand it is a pretty big place, but they seem to be somewhat understaffed. Their menu is huge, just for breakfast food alone. They have everything. Egg combos, omelets, pancakes, waffles, crepes, french toast, multiple types of eggs benedict, steak and eggs. Anything you can dream of for breakfast they have it. Mom ordered the veggie omelet which she enjoyed. But its kind of hard to mess up an omelet, but I suppose it can be done. But she said it was good. Her omelet came with a side of home fries and her choice of toast or pancakes. I thought the option of a side of pancakes was odd but whatever I wasn’t complaining because I was going to eat it. I asked if they could make the side of pancakes chocolate chip and we would pay for the upcharge but they refused and said it couldn’t be done. Not really sure why but whatever. I ordered the regular eggs benedict. It was good, but nothing special. There was something weird about the hollandaise sauce that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. It’s not like it ruined the dish, but it either was lacking one thing or had too much of something else. It did come with a cute little fruit salad and home fries. Maybe I just didn’t get the right thing? because everything that was being served to the tables around us looked amazing. I’ll have to try it again for breakfast or maybe lunch next time. I just wasn’t impressed for my first visit. AND they don’t serve alcohol so that also means no mimosas or bloody’s. WAH.

I’m sure I will go back… but I won’t be in any kind of hurry to do so. The restaurant is lovely, and pleasant, and very clean. Every employee was nice and smiling. We were seated immediately to a table. These are all good things. The restaurant was doing good business… tables maybe 75−80% full. But as nice as our server was… she wasn’t having her best day. She choose not to write down our drink order(5 people… 2 coffees, a diet cola, an orange juice, and a chocolate milk), and forgot one of the orders. She dropped off 4 drinks, and had to ask again what the 5th was. We noticed other tables received a small pitcher with their coffee for refills. We were not given one of these until the two coffees on the table were empty for 5 minutes. When food came out — there were multiple mistakes. All toast was forgotten. A side of fruit was forgotten. A side of pancakes was delivered that we did not order. And one omelette… wasn’t delivered.(the server advised that the kitchen made the wrong omelette, and offered a choice of eating the wrong omelette, or waiting for the right one to be made) These are all little, and possibly honest, mistakes. But it kind of accumulates… y’know? It’s not enough to ruin the meal, but it is enough to not hurry back. While the offer to make the correct omelette was appreciated, I didn’t want to have everyone else half done with their food before I even received mine… so I took the ‘wrong’ omelette. I little show of appreciation would have been nice — heck, just comp my coffee! But no… there were no add-ons or discounts offered. Just ‘you can wait while everyone else eats if you want’. Anyway… the food was good. And plentiful. If someone else chooses to go there… I will go along and give it another shot. But I wasn’t impressed

Been there a couple times now. The first time it was great; great food(despite my husband ordering rye toast and not gettting rye) and great service. The second time the food was ok — room temp and place was much busier, good service, and still no rye toast. Went again today, very busy(good for them) but the food quality has taken the hit for this. My daughter and husband’s food was room temp and mine was cold. Having been a server for many, many years I try not to complain and look at the good not the bad but cold eggs are not great and I couldn’t make myself eat them. The waitress gladly took the plate back to microwave. I gave the 3 stars because the severs are great and the location is nice but I hate to see a locally owned restaurant not be able to keep up with the quality of their food because of the quantity of their customers.

Tried the waffles but they were bitter, almost like they wanted to be sourdough but not. I was disappointed. The spanakopita is good and the fries are crispy and tasty, but… really, isn’t that the case in almost every greek place in town? I agree with others about service, it’s hit or miss. One server on a Saturday was terribly clueless and distracted, took me two requests to get a spoon from her. Update: I spoke too soon. I got a bad spanakopita this week. It was as though they ran out of them and threw one together in the kitchen(spinach was still in its full leaf form, cheese was separate, not incorporated into spinach… it was unfortunate to say the least). Don’t mess with spanakopita, folks. You just lost a star.

Went there for dinner. Waited about 10 minutes for a menu once seated. Dinner took about 30 minutes from when ordered. I had baked Cajun fish. It was desert dry and not cajuny. Breakfast service and wait we’re just as bad. Disappointing as the place is cute. Oh well

We love this restaurant! I’ve tried everything from breakfast to the dinner entrees and all are delicious. We never wait long at all, the service is extremely quick, attentive and friendly. There is a wonderful Friday fish fry as well that comes with THREE sides and is always hot and crispy. Greek entrees are perfectly seasoned and yummy; portions are large. Finally, a restaurant in the village of Kenmore! The only problem is that it isn’t open more nights. :)

Came back and had the Greek omelette again, it is to die for! Service was a little slow but since I’ve worked in the food service industry I can completely understand why, they were obviously short staffed. Will definitely be back again for a delicious breakfast!

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced in Buffalo. It took 20 minutes for anyone to come over to our table to get our drink order. We were desperate to order or food in fear of having to wait that long again. We tried to order crepes but they were out of fruit… So we had to change our order which took another 15 minutes for someone to come back to us. Never was offered a refill on coffee or water, even though the waitress walked by our table three times with a hot pot of coffee… Finally she just threw the coffee pot on our table. After 55 minutes we got our food and it was COLD. AREYOUKIDDING? never coming back.

This was almost a 1-star if it weren’t for our server, Angela, who was attentive and did a great job… unfortunately we waited an hour for our food(two simple wraps) and when they arrived it was mostly lettuce. I noticed someone, maybe the owner, going to multiple tables and sitting for extended periods with other guests. I may be wrong but if that was the owner then he should have been helping out because we weren’t the only ones waiting for our food. This was our first time in and the décor and service was friendly and warm but food was sub-par and wait was really too long. I think they have loyal clientele and good business but if hate to see any place go downhill over time to finally look up to wonder why business has declined. We probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Love this place — bigger inside than it looks from outside. Tried it for Sunday breakfast and loved it — great eggs Benedict. Went back for dinner on Friday — fish fry was one of best in Buffalo — very large, tasty portion of beer battered haddock. And you get complimentary rice pudding for dessert — yum. Service was great each visit … I’ll go back.

Not that the place was completely awful, as the interior/atmosphere was nice. I ordered the steak and eggs asked for the steak to be cooked medium. did stress that I couldn’t handle bloody. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. finally did steak was completely rare and bloody. Our waitress never came back to ask how the food was. time went by and everyone including myself couldn’t help but eat and eat around the meat. We ended up flagging down a different server. Our waitress came tended to the issue. My breakfast was cold a partially eaten by the time the steak returned. My thought as I’m about giving and receiving fare and decent customer service, Is she should have discounted our bill in some way. Felt like she was kinda rude and to busy. Not sure if I’ll go back.

Stopped in for lunch today. Extensive menu made it hard to choose, but had to try the spanakopita, the avgolemono soup and the gryo. All were delicious. The service was warm and efficient. Try it, you’ll like it.

An hour wait for breakfast is unreasonable. My boyfriend got his food and the eggs were not scrambled as requested. My traditional Eggs Benedict was simply just ok. I think they forgot our order and it was a rush job. The server said they were waiting on home fries. However, people who came in after us were served quicker and with home fries. Not sure what happened but the owner was oblivious. The server offered us free rice pudding as compensation for our ridiculous wait time. I was looking forward to a good breakfast place within walking distance but most likely will not return.

Great new place on Kenmore for breakfast! Friendly attentive staff, great décor, and good food at decent prices. The carafe of coffee for the table was a nice touch too.
