Awesome effects, went with a group of friends and we were screaming nearly the entire time. I was skeptical at first thinking it was just a short trail through the woods but then there was the zombie fields, then the haunted circus and the maze overall it was awesome and great fun. Only wish that they specified that the tickets should be purchased at the same time so that you get everyone the same number, but the people who were working there fixed it for us once we noticed the problem.

After having such a great experience last year(2010), we decided to go again this year and with a few more people. I know it’s been a full year since our last visit to the Haunted Trails, but I swear it was better than ever. Without giving too much away, the Haunted Trails are held in an actual state park. The trail itself gets really dark, the trail also can get pretty narrow, and the forest is dense. After the trail, there are a few more mazes to get through. The mazes were well done and it took all of us nearly an hour to finish. It’s about the same price range($ 20) as all the other Halloween attractions. The drive from West Seattle to Bastyr took less than half an hour which makes it closer than any corn maze I’ve been to. Parking is easy and the crowd is definitely less annoying than the Kube Haunted Morgue. The best part about the Haunted Trails is that it’s for a great cause. Also, I don’t know what other Halloween attraction offers a homemade bake sale with gluten free cookies.

I’ve been going to the Haunted Trails for 5 years. This year I went into the haunted maze, too. OMG, I’ve never been so scared in my life! It’s a maze that seems to be made from fences. We got lost a few times and didn’t know where we were going ’cause it was foggy. Plus, lots of people jumped out and scare us. The Hades Labyrinth was really spooky. Plus, the price is really cheap! I got the combo pass which gave me a trip to the labyrinth, the trails, and a hayride for only $ 24. Last week I paid $ 20 for a corn maze and it was b-o-o-o-r-i-n-g. Yeah, it’s an amateur production but their newbies with motivation. I’ll definitely go again next year. Oh yeah, I heard they’re open this Friday(10⁄30), too.
