After recently writing a bad review due to what I perceived as tepid service, my wife visited twice and had what she considered great service. She said that the service she received was superb– both helpful and friendly. This is a very well stocked store in a convenient location and I am pleased to be able to amend my earlier review.

Kennebunk, ME
This store always has everything I want, you can buy small quantities (3 screws instead of 20), amazing variety, and the staff always knows where stuff is immediately. Yes, they don’t smile, yes, they don’t make small talk, etc., but they are getting better, really! All the positives of the store far outweigh their lack of friendliness! If you ask for help, they’ll give it! I don’t absolutely need a smile (it would be nice), but I do need a do-​hickey and quickly; I don’t want to search for an hour to find it –

Very bad customer service I will not go here again. Port hardware in lower village is a much better choice or Home Depot both have better prices and customer service.
