This is a fun little town to visit for a day. Crowded on the weekends in the summer. We went on a Thursday. There’s a public lot right over the bridge. Not that many stores, lots of restaurants. Pretty water views.

Kennebunkport is a beautiful small town with very friendly locals. There are plenty of small shops selling souvenirs as well as coffee shops and restaurants. The seafood as expected is very fresh. The Bush compound(Walker’s Point) is very close and there is a beautiful waterview. If you are travelling to Maine or Canada on a roadtrip, dont miss out on visiting Kennebunkport.

If you live in New England and need a little weekend getaway, Kennebunkport is the perfect place. Gorgeous coastline, lots of little shops and local artisans, art galleries, wonderful old New England architecture, fresh seafood, and so much more. The downtown area is best experience on foot or bicycle but there are beautiful sites to see if you have a car for driving around. Goose Rocks Beach, Walker’s Point, Ocean Avenue, The Wedding Cake House and much more.

Kennebunkport is a charming port town. There are lots of cute shops selling local products, a lot of Maine Blueberry stuff like jam and honey. There are a few cute restaurants off the dock and the shipyard brewery. Lots of lobster rolls and haddock to be found here. A few miles away is the Bush Compound, and Goose Rocks Beach. It is a great new england town to vacation in, its a good 40 minutes south of Portland airport.
