bought fudge today. hard as a rock — almost crystalized — and tasted very stale — shameful!

Fudge and salt water taffy oh my. The store is filled with different types of candies including jelly beans, gummy bears shaped like Maine Lobsters and of course their amazing fudge. I bought a piece of pumpkin fudge which I had never come across. It was amazing. It was like eating a crustless creamy pumpkin pie. Delicious. Glad I decided to stop and taste some of their goodies.

The display case with many varieties and flavors of fudge is very inviting. Bought $ 13.00 worth of fudge. Took it home and discovered I had purchased a box of inedible rocks. It couldn’t be cut, even with a sharp carving knife. This fudge had to be weeks old, there is no way the clerk couldn’t have known, simply by touching it. My advice is to ask for a sample taste before buying. If they decline, walk away and save your money.

It’s a candy shop! What could be bad?! Good selection, good chocolate. If you are candy crazy, drive to Yummie’s in Kittery.

I have been coming here since I was a kid– I still want a sweet treat when I leave the beach :) Good selection of candies and chocolates & yummy fudge. Only negative is the staff are completely unhelpful and don’t want to be bothered.

Mmmmmm chocolates are delicious, fudge was very good too with lots of selections. The pick your own candy selection was great. The women who was helping us kinda had a weird attitude, that is why I give it 4 stars… she just kinda gave off this arrogance that I did not like. Looked like a good selection on sugar free candy too!
