I am as green as it gets when it comes to RC. With a two electronics classes in college under my belt I decided to purchase a DIY FPV racing drone kit. I needed a few more things that weren’t provided for 117.99. Namely, a transmitter, receiver & 11.1V 2200mAh 3s lipo battery to power the frankendrone. He had a wonderful selection of various inventory. My budget was $ 300 and I brought cash, as to not spend more than what I budgeted for.

I bought a brand spanking new Spektrum DX6 transmitter with retails for $ 199.99. A Spektrum AS3X receiver retailing at $ 84.99. An E-​flite 30C 11.1V 2200mAh lip battery at $ 39.99 and lastly a couple of battery connectors for $ 3.99.
ALL FOR $ 300!
Probably shouldn’t broadcast what an incredible deal I received.
I didn’t have enough to pay… so I was going to buy the cheaper nano receiver ignorant to the fact that my servos wouldn’t fit. At the last minute he said «wait a minute,» walked back and got the more expensive receiver and said «Merry Christmas.»
I had not the best holidays and this just made my day!

So I go down here to get a train. I bought a train. When I got home the motors front wheels were locked up and the back wheels could not spin because the gear that transferred the power from the motor to the two wheels was broken.

I walked into the store and started too take a look around. I then noticed that the owner would not stop watching me as if I was going rob him blind. He then started to follow me and a friend around the store and kept saying «you break it you bought it». I then purchased a train from this store (looking back not a good idea). I then got home only to find out what I bought was broken. I had to take it too another train shop to be repaired. If you want a train I’ll give you a great suggestion as to where not to go and that is here.

Do drop in. Mike knows his product, and he is passionate about what he sells. Mike carries all the train brands and even Thomas the Tank Engine for those young folks just starting out in trains. He carries themed Lionel complete kits for the big kids (adults) too. I.e. Yankee /​Metz Subway Series, etc. or set ups you can run your train by an IPad. You can add electronics to your current train set. What’s stopping you? Come on down. We purchased two remote controlled helicopters for our nephew. Can’t wait to try them out. And we even got the new 2014 Lionel catalogs. Fun awaits.
