Spa Revive

A group of us (6 very stressed grad students) went via Groupon and had a nice experience. Granted it’s small, but it was a good time to just be with each other and RELAX! While Neena was not done setting up by our appointment time and Jamal was a few minutes late (5 o’clock traffic in Kenner), the pros (wonderful massage, very nice massage therapists, great price) outweighed the cons (not ready on time, plastic bins used for foot scrub, small). Neena and Jamal were very personable and accommodating. We were offered wine and water after we changed into robes and slippers. Neena and Jamal provided foot scrubs then 2 of us were able to get facials and massages while the rest of us talked and drank wine. Would probably work out better for a couple or group of 4. Not the fanciest establishment but you’re getting a really good massage for a very low price! We all left feeling relaxed! Great for shopping local and supporting small businesses!

I’m a fan of great deals, but this was a waste of $. I bought the discounted 1 hr couples massage plus facial for 100.00. They couldn’t book me for a month which I found ridiculous.
The location was inside a very room. I asked for wine and they didn’t have any. I asked for a bandaid bc I burned my arm that morning and guess what? They didn’t have a first aid kit. Lovely.
The facial lasted 3 minutes. I requested a deep tissue and ended up getting «rubbed down» in all the wrong ways. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional considering I get a deep tissue 1x a month and know how it should feel. I almost fall asleep during good massages. Not this time. I was wide awake, cringing, hoping it would be over. It only lasted 40 min. I left very disappointed. The girls giving the massages didn’t look over 18. I doubt they have their licenses.

I bought a Groupon for 2 sixty minute massages for my husband for a birthday gift. We have attempted to make appointments on numerous occasions, with no success. Finally reached someone this morning after no response to voicemails… ONLY to be told that they are completely booked past the expiration date of the Groupon and it will only be honored at face value, which means I would have to give them another NINETY F’ING DOLLARS for the massages. NOT happening, especially after reading the other reviews. I’d rather spend another $ 60 at a professional establishment to ensure my husband gets the uninterrupted relaxation he deserves. Maybe you guys can make it up to the hard working community who’s money you’re stealing by giving sweet deals during you’re going out of business sale.

Made a appointment three times. They moved the first one then the second one they did not write us in for. By the third one I gave up. Awful service

SO DISAPPOINTED! !! I booked as a mother’s day present for my mom. I told them 3 of us were needing to do massages at same time. I was told .no problem. I even call back to confirm that there would be no wait time between appointments. I was assured there’d be no time waiting in between. when we arrived we were told there was only two people to do the massages, so one of us would have to wait an hour. so my sister had to leave after driving in from the north shore, so that me and my mom could get a massage. After 5 minutes with Nicole, the front door bell rings, and she leaves to go answer the door, leaving my mother on the table for 10 minutes. the phone rang 3 times while we were getting massages, and the women answered the phone leaving us. then wanted to rush us off so that they could have their next clients. Again very DISAPPOINTED

My boyfriend and I called and was able to get an appointment immediately. Upon arrival we were greeted and given a warm welcome. The guy who did my message was sooooo awesome. My boyfriend enjoyed his as well.
My only negative is I wish the place was bigger for a group message but other then that, we really enjoyed ourselves. We will most surly be back.

Follow up on prior review. Spa called back, made an appointment, they added a glass of wine and aroma therapy, nice touch. The massage was wonderful, I plan on going back and will recommend it to others.

Horrible terrible customer service!!! I will never go back again. My husband and I purchased a couples massage through Groupon and showed up to our appointment on time. When I called for her to tell us what building she was in she then informed me she was running a little behind and that it would be another 45 minutes. I was a little annoyed that she couldn’t call us and tell us that before we drove 30 minutes to get there but I said okay and we went across the street to get coffee. We came back after 45 min and it was pouring rain. We buzzed her to open the door 3 or 4 times before it was finally opened. We were soaked. Then we had to sit in the cold lobby which we were locked in and this lady said the massage therapist would be right with us. I asked for a towel to dry off and she brought us one. We waited another 30 minutes and the massage therapist still had not come to get us. Then she came down and said she was «acknowledging» we were there but that it was going to be a longer wait because her last clients showed up an hour late. I asked her why she didn’t make them reschedule since they were an hour late and we were on time and she stated it was because they had paid a hefty deposit and she wanted to make sure they got what they paid for. She asked if we would like to reschedule so we didn’t have to wait any longer. I was furious!!! We had already waited an hour and a half AND had paid in full beforehand and we were ON TIME. She should have made the other couple reschedule not us! I was so angry I left. We demanded our money back from Groupon and they gave it to us right away. I have never had such terrible and disrespectful customer service in my life. I don’t usually write reviews unless they are good or extremely bad. And obviously you know why I wrote this one. Do not recommend at all.
