Great place to get nice and fast cut by a group of young entrepreneurs. This is an amazing group of artists capable of doing whatever you want on your hair. They are also open on Sunday as well. Great services

Every time I walk in this place the manager jimmy greets me and ask me if I am waiting for someone in particular. I have no preferences as all the barbers have cut me before and they are all great. It’s a very good atmosphere with TV’s and very respectful discussions. Good place to get Haircut. I strongly recommend!

It seems like the only time someone wants to commit is when it’s not a good experience. But I have no issues with this barbershop and I support black business I’m a business man so a quick haircut is very important when I have the time. My barber is John he always gives me the haircut and shape up I’m looking for. I’m bald so hair is easy but I like having a well trimmed beard which seems to be difficult for most barbershop (I some barbershop don’t specialize in beards) but I get a good look leaving. If I need a haircut I come here if I have the time. .I support black businesses

Well let me start this terrible review by giving the owner Jimmy a compliment. He is always so nice and he greets each and every customer that walks in his shop which is why I continue to come back… Well. Until today!
A few months ago I recommended this shop to my brother and Jimmy was not in that day. My brother sat down and waited a FULL HOUR. No one greeted him, people that walked in after him were taken care of before him, and the men gave him ugly looks. Idk if its because he is military or what but he was willing to give a $ 20 tip that day. No one wanted to assist so he was walked out very upset. I watched the whole thing from my car.
Came in TODAY 10/​23/​2015 and Jimmy was not there again. Should have known it was going to be ANOTHER f*** up experience. Soooooo I waited patiently with my son in a chair. Once again NO ONE acknowledged us, we were there for a full 15 while other barbers were sitting in chairs doing NOTHING!!! Did not ask how they could assist, not a damn thing. After 15 min of waiting… Another man walked in and he IMMEDIATELY received a HEY SIR, HOW ARE U DOING TODAY? HOW CAN I HELP U? His a** wasn’t even in the chair yet. Like whaaaaaaat??? I grabbed my son by the hand and we walked out. I heard the barber that cuts hair directly in front of Jimmy’s chair say «THESE GUYS» referring to me (a female) and my son. It’s sad that he finally noticed us after they lost business. I was willing to give a good tip too but f*** it. I will NEVER visit this place again.

I usually don’t go to new barbers lest I get a good referral. Reason being i have no clue what the level of talent is and if certain barbers specialize in certain styles. After saying that i went against my first mind and tried amazing cuts.
Granted the place was packed. But that didn’t say much being as the shop is one of the only 3 «black» barber shops located in Kennesaw. Though my expectations were not that high when my regular shop in Atlanta is home to some really talented cats.
Anyway my barber was a young guy named Chris. Poor Chris hadn’t the slightest clue what he was doing to my hair. I could tell he was used to the regular clientele of «bald fades» «full caesars» etc because when I asked if he could do a «ramp» he hesitated a bit. So I described to the detail what I wanted. «Low fade» keep it dark leave the top high and the back gradually tapers. He says he can do it and I believed him its naturally an easy cut for an experienced barber.
Poor Chris. To say the least my hair wasn’t faded it was a step from one length to the other somewhat of a bowl. The back never was tapered after three tries. He gave me a thin mustache to swoop into a full beard which looked ridiculous on my face. This all took nearly 1 hrs 15 minutes.. wtf
It was so bad when I finally told him «I’m done» and asked how much do I owe him he said I didn’t have to pay cause he could tell I didn’t like the cut. I expressed that its not a bad cut its just no where near what I wanted. And that if he wasnt comfortable with the cut he shouldn’t of sat me. I felt betrayed cause he obviously isn’t up to par with the other barbers in the shop. He could of easily pointed me to someone with more skill. Though I feel he was focused more on the money.
Anyway I gave him $ 20. Even though he said I wouldn’t have to pay. But I just feel misled that’s what led me to leave this review.

I can usually get in and out of here quickly & the service is usually friendly and fast. I’ve gotten better haircuts elsewhere but this one fits the bill when I’m in Kennesaw. While here check out the jerseys from famous athletes past and present even Obama’s old basketball jersey is hanging on the wall
