The best Thai food there is. Great staff and the owners/cooks will make your food to please. I give this place 5 stars but they deserve 10.

I love this place, and the fact that we can pick up takeout. I wish I would venture to try something besides my two favorite dishes(Pad Thai and Cashew Nut). Coconut Soup is amazing as well. Note: This is a house, so it can get loud during lunch and dinner. Portions are great in house and for takeout.

Hands down the BEST Thai in East Cobb(and I’m a hard critic of Thai)! Seafood options are a bit more expensive but well worth it! My favorite is the Pad Kee Mow, Papaya Salad, Egg Rolls, and Pad Thai. It’s limited seating and parking so you might as well order to-go.

By far the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. My husband and I can easily split the chicken curry and service is always exceptional any time we go there. I won’t get Thai(dine in or Togo) anywhere else again.

The covered porch lured me in! Passed Bangkok Cabin a thousand times, always thinking ‘this place looks so darned quaint.’ Yesterday, a perfect day to dine al fresco, frequent-lunch– companion-Linda and I, decided to give it a go. Lunch is generally an inexpensive way to gauge a restaurant, but not necessarily this time. The special includes tom yom chicken soup, which is spicy and somewhat sour, but not as satisfying as Chinese hot and sour soup. This may be the way tom yom is supposed to taste, but being a coconut kinda gal myself, it was nothing I’d ever think to order. Linda chose a starter salad, plain iceberg lettuce with a delicious peanut dressing.(She thought it too spicy, I disagreed.) We both rated our entrees three stars. I ordered spicy vegetables, which I wouldn’t have chosen if I didn’t limit myself to the lunch special.(Thai spicy is indeed spicy; next time I’ll ask for moderate spicy.) Linda chose the Thai fried rice which looked good, but«typical.» Both portions were generous, with half our meals going home as leftovers. Will I come back? Yes! My husband has been curious about Bangkok Cabin, too. While my meal didn’t knock my socks off, I think the restaurant has potential and warrants a repeat visit.

The food is still amazingly good, but recently the interior has been painted and updated a bit! We also felt like the servers were a lot more attentive and fast the last 2 times we visited. The curries are outstanding… I recently had the fried rice for the first time, and even though it was just fried rice, I think it was the best I’ve ever had lol. But seriously.

I don’t know much about Thai food, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! I love the atmosphere-cozy, intimate, and warm. The service was excellent! I’ve returned for take out several times since my initial visit for spring rolls and coconut soup! Yum!

Oh. My. God. Best spring rolls I have EVER had! The pad ka prow was amazing. My fiancé and I both got it. I got it mild which had no heat at all. I will get the medium next time. But the flavors were amazing! My fiancé got the hot… Kind of painful to watch someone breath heavy and sweat while dining. But he loves spicy food! He will get it again and again! The service was so friendly! He seemed more like a friend instead of a waiter. Can’t wait to come back!

I been here in the past and the food was always good with huge portions and friendly service. Last night I was there with a friend. The waitress was not very friendly, not helpful at answering questions about the menu and rushing us to hurry and order. The quality of the food has gone down hill. The portions were cut in half, the meat was overcooked and the type of noodles used in pad Thai looked like spaghetti noodles. Not sure if I want to patronize this restaurant again.

I went to Bangkok Cabin for lunch after looking them up and researching comments/ratings from my peer Unilocalers… I must say that 4 stars(or somewhere between 4 and 5) for taste is just right! I can’t give them 5 for the overall experience because I think the place needs a little sprucing up to earn my 5 stars. It’s exactly as the name implies, a cabin but the food more than makes up for the lack of curb appeal. I had the Vegan Paad See Wu and it was extremely flavorful and just the right portion. Enough to fill me up but not overwhelming. Of course, I’m always impressed by any restaurant that is Vegan friendly as is this one. As soon as I said Vegan, the server knew exactly what I needed! I’d recommend them to anyone who likes cheap, flavorful and quick eats. I’ll warn you that I don’t have a lot of Thai experience to compare this to but it was just good food. Enjoy!

We were looking for Thai food around the area and had read good reviews about the place. We were pretty happy when we went in and the reviews matched our experience. The food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the coconut soup and massaman curry. The service was great and we loved the cozy atmosphere that could only come from eating out of a house(yes, the restaurant is inside what used to be a house :) The décor and music add the final touch to your eating experience. I loved it and would definitely come back and recommend. :)

Love the decorations in the restaurant, it makes you feel like you’re actually in Bangkok, Thailand. Otherwise, I will probably not come back here again, the food wasn’t good as I thought. I ordered beef padthai but it was tasteless.

I just happened to find this place while running errands. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, the prices were right and most importabtly the food was amaaazzinngg. I had the panang curry and it was by far the best Thai I’ve had since moving down to Atlanta. It is a bit of a drive from where I live but I’m sure I’ll be back with friends! Also, don’t be a wuss and ask for it «Thai Hot».

I have done take out from here and couple of times and have always been really pleased. They have a great authentic flavor and the prices are very reasonable. Since I have not dinner in, I can not speak for the service and ambiance. It is definitely worth checking out.

BESTTHAIFOODINTHESTATE!!! EVERYTHING is fantastic and tastes delicious. Be aware that the owners are better cioks than business people. — the temp at the restaurant is always inconsistent. Some days it’s hot and other days it’s cold. — they don’t have enough waiters for busy times, so the service can be quite slow… At times REALLY slow. — due to not having enough waiters(seems to be one or two te entire restaurant) the waitresses get flustered and then aren’t as friendly as you’d like. — they open at 11:30 or 12 depending on the day and seriously pull in to open it up 5 – 10 minutes AFTERWARD their scheduled opening. Makes me chuckle. All that said, it is still ONEOFMYFAVORITE places to eat! The food is truly amazing!!! Go there BUT make sure you take off your«American» mentality and relax about the listed things above. You’ll eat there once and find yourself craving it weekly.

I love this place! The food has great flavor and huge portions! I went for lunch the other day and it was very busy which is always a good sign. The service was a bit slow but only because there was only one server who was clearing tables, taking orders, and on the register. She was kicking ass though and was very friendly. Be careful though, if you order your food hot, it is very hot! Overall, a great place for lunch and dinner with amazing taste and great portions that leave you wanting more!

Really good Thai food in a quaint cabin home setting. You’ll love the food. You’ll love the friendliness of the server. You’ll(probably) dislike the small, tight parking lot, and you’ll dislike the hit-or-miss service. Like others have said before me, BCATC has the back of the house food down. It’s the front of the house that could use some help. Lunches can get busy, and with only one dedicated server, well, you may have to wait for that check. That’s problematic for those who can’t linger over a Thai Iced Tea before going back to work. My four star rating reflects how good the food is, however, despite the potential service glitches. Yeah, the entrees are that good.

One of the better Thai restaurants in the metro area. Been there twice for lunch in the past month and will definitely be returning since it’s so close to work! I ordered the Massaman curry during my first visit, and the Pad Kee Mao with tofu on my second. Lunch entrees come with either a soup or salad. Unfortunately, both times they had sold out of the tom yum soup so I settled for the salad with peanut dressing instead which was pretty fantastic! The consistency of the curry was perfect. There was just the right amount of coconut milk to add enough flavor without being too thick. The Pad Kee Mao also did not disappoint. I love spicy food and the noodles had enough of a kick to where it was still flavorful, without requiring me to take a sip of water after every bite. The only down side is the parking lot. It’s pretty tiny so you might find yourself parking across the street but since I arrived after the lunch rush both times, I didn’t run into any issues.

There are actually a lot of really good, authentic Thai restaurants in Kennesaw and here is another to add to the list. Bankok Cabin is a family driven restaurant who operates from a converted house. The interior is decorated in a traditional sense with colors of purple and orange and seating is pretty limited, especially in the colder seasons when the patio is closed. The beau surprised me by taking me to a restaurant I haven’t been to(usually, it’s the other way around). We didn’t stray too far from our usual Masaman curry and Pad Thai, as these dishes are typically what we use to compare and gage food from one Thai restaurant to another. Overall, I’d say they rank within top three for me. I usually never finish my food in one sitting, especially with the generous portion sizes offered here, but everything was THAT good, it couldn’t be helped. Another HUGE plus is when you ask for«Thai hot». you get honest-to-God Thai hot, not some wimpy heat they’ve toned down for people who aren’t used to it. This, in turn, bit the beau in the rear because the papaya salad was way too hot for him to handle. I thought I would never find restaurant papaya salad as good as my old room mate’s mom used to make us but I’m happy to say they have it here! Prices are a little expensive in comparison to other Kennesaw Thai restaurants, but the portion size and taste of the dishes make up for it. Parking is located behind the house/building and the entrance is a little tricky for lowered cars.
