Worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. Management is terrible. We had a five night discounted reservation for a king room. We arrived and the reservation had been canceled. We were left with a double bed the first night and they couldn’t charge us the full amount which we had decided to split because of moving us to a king the next night. We got to the room and had to change because it smelled like mold. The second day we split the charges on our cards. We were moved into a king room on the top floor. We awoke the next morning early to a constant dripping sound — a big leak in the roof which someone clearly knew about because a bucket was right underneath it. We were moved immediately to a bottom floor room which sounded as if a window was open the entire morning. After we got up we realized water had been pouring in underneath the AC unit and soaked the carpet. We finally moved again and called the manager who refused to discount us any further and accommodated with a junior suite the last two nights. We went out to eat and brought leftovers(seafood) back and put it in the refrigerator over night. It was broken and our food was ruined. Finally, we left and the charges on our cards mysteriously disappeared for three days only to reappear as a total amount on one card. Now there is an overdraft fee we have to deal with because of it. Called the manager and I left a message which was never returned, and I finally called back and she was rude and told me I was saying one thing and then saying something else. I was so upset that I decided to call the head of Marriott. Either way I doubt I will be returning to this location.

When the customer has to explain the math to you, and how you’ve over charged them by $ 800. And when you ask to speak to a manager he only responds by a phone call, and his response is, «our motto is to not look stupid.» This place needs a makeover … Inside and out. And I’m not talking about décor.

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Rug was WET making room smell very musty. Room was filthy. I stayed in 3 hotels in 5 days. This was an unfortunate mistake.

Fairfield Inn, Kennesaw, Ga. Horrible experience. Front desk personnel were rude and did not listen. Would not honor the group rate we were quoted. Booked us into a room lesser than we asked for. Will NEVER stay here again.

As a Gold member, I have stayed at tons of Marriotts and never have I encountered a situation like this. After checking in, I asked to change my room because it had an awful smell to it. They changed my room no problem. The next room didn’t smell much better though. I had reservations from the 23 until the 26. The morning before check out on the 25 I called and told the front desk I would be checking out today because of a change in my work agenda. I spoke with a women named Diamond who said she was the manager on at the front desk she also told me I could check out but they would charge me for the 26 even thought I wouldn’t be staying. I then asked could I speak to the manager above her and was told no one is above her she is the manager on duty today. I didn’t understand why I would be charged being it was 24 hours in advance. I then called the 1 – 800 Marriott number and was told I could check out free of charge as long as it wasn’t pass the checkout time which it wasn’t. I then went down to the front desk to explain this to Diamond who didn’t want to hear it and stayed in the back the entire time at this point another worker assisted me who was great and resolved everything. I just think it was very unprofessional of the manger on duty.

Terrible experience at this Marriott location. I travel a LOT for work and this is by far the worst Marriott property I have come across. I was sitting in my room doing some work on my laptop and someone comes barging in my room. Not a hotel employee, but another guest. They gave him a key to my room, double booking it… he had just checked in, about 3 hours after I had. I called down to the front desk, they said that their«computer system was down». I can’t say I’ve ever had that happen before. The hotel is also older, no real business center at all, there is a computer with a printer right at the front door and the showers in the rooms look like they’re from the 1980’s. I won’t be staying here again.

Not sure how this hotel has almost five stars. When we first arrived the staff was nice but that’s about the only nice thing I can say about my stay. Me and two other guest were on the sketchy elevator that made strange noises and the door wouldn’t open when we finally made it to our floor. Once on the floor everything seem pretty mediocre and same goes for the actual room. Until finally me and my guest wake up around 2 in the morning to see bed bugs crawling on each of our beds. At first it was just one so we killed it and attempted to fall back asleep until we decided to lift all the pillows on the bed to find just enough of them to pack our things, check out, and make reservations at the Hilton.

I had such a great time at this hotel. The service was great. Be careful with the cab services though. They over charge a lot! The hotel itself is super clean and comfy :-)

Recently renovated Fairfield Inn. Very friendly front desk staff helped us by recommending a place for dinner, and even checked to make sure we were paying the lowest possible rate. Room was comfortable. Pillow top mattress wasn’t bad. Very large television, good channel selection. Disappointed that there were no convenient power outlets bedside. If I had one complaint it would be that the towels are extremely low quality and thin — a stark contrast to the quality of the rest of the property.
