While vacationing in Georgia, we hit something that bent our RV’s retractable steps into a tangled mess. Road Side assistance wanted to tow the entire motor home to an RV repair center but we simply tied it up as best we could and found a local garage that was able to remove it for us. We found Garrett Automotive in Cartersville and stopped to see if they could help us. Nice, nice, nice and very helpful. They could not repair the wrecked stairs of course(I’m sure replacing them will be the only option), but they were able to remove it for us and took time out immediately to help us get back on the road. They didn’t even charge us a dime for their trouble. This is the kind of garage and mechanics everyone wishes they had in their home town and I hope this review brings them all the business they deserve.

They don’t try to sell you anything, but always try to find something else that needs to be fixed in your car, so you can spend some more money . Any other place you go fix your car they charge between 60.00 –80.00 labor, there you will be charged around 100.00.

Brought my van in about a month ago because of a screeching noise. I researched myself and found out that it was probably my serpentine belt. I brought it in to Garrett Automotive where they confirmed the problem. They gave me two options– one to remedy the immediate problem without spending too much until it absolutely needed to be replaced, or to just replace it all together already. I appreciated being given the options and decided on the latter. They were fair and honest in their diagnosis and pricing. They were able to do the work all on the same day. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

took my car in to get an oil change and I was very pleased. The employees were nice, attentive and quick. I thought the pricing was great and I did not feel like they were trying to sell a bunch of services. I will be back!
