Hick’s Roofing is a terrible company to deal with. We scheduled an appointment with them to check out a leak in Smyrna. Since it’s raining, they told us they could only put a tarp on — but do no other inspections or repairs. That would have been fine, if they had told us that or called BEFORE their appointment. After they no-​showed, we called to find out where they were and Kelly in the office admitted to misplacing our paperwork and not calling us to cancel in advance. So now we took the day off from work for no reason. On top of that, they would not let me speak to a supervisor or manager. Worst company ever. Would still like to speak to a manager about my complaint.

They did my roof and gutters and did a good job, hauled off all the mess and have followed up for 2 years. One of the gutters clogged and they came and cleaned it out for us. I am very happy with the service I get from them.

I had a roof repair completed by Hicks Roofing in September of 2008 — with a one year warranty. August of 2009 my roof began leaking in the same spot. I called in August to have Hicks Roofing come out and fix my roof as it was still under warranty. It is now NOVEMBER 17^th, 2009 and my roof has still not been fixed! I have had roofers «NO SHOW» repeatedly after I have taken multiple days off of work to meet them at my home. My husband and I continue to get the «run around» from the company along with many «promises» that things will be fixed promptly. My roof STILL has an UNSIGHTLY blue tarp on it, there is now mold in my drywall and it is falling into my bathroom. The nonchalant attitude of the office staff is almost comical; it is as if Hicks Roofing Company and its owner, Derrick Hicks, have no concern for their clients or their reputation. I highly suggest that YOU DO NOT GET FOOLED! Do your homework and choose another roofer! I would hate for anyone else to miss as much sleep, pay and work time as my husband and I have. NEVER AGAIN will I use Hicks Roofing!
