I frequent a couple other shops around Atlanta for my car audio needs. Three times now I was shown vehicles that came to them from this place. I even got to speak with the customer who confirmed it was Joker’s so I wasn’t being sold a bill of crap. For one, the entire radio area was torn out and apparently the story was that Joker’s couldn’t figure out how to get it back together. That shop had to put it all together again to save this guys car, which hadn’t even been in his possession long enough to get his license plate yet! He pulled his car from Joker’s because they were way past deadline and his girlfriends car was done so well at the other(not Joker’s) shop so he cut his losses and changed shops. The next two I saw were«high end» installs(this is what the customer was told was being done) but using terrible, cheap amplifiers no high-end install should ever have wired up with cheap wiring and poor wire management(i.e., not even cutting to length any speaker wire). There was even barrel connectors used instead of soldering to the output side of a massacred OEM amplifier harness and the amplifier was just shoved into a void between the outer car panel and inner truck structure, not screwed into a plate and mounted properly… nothing. One vehicle had so much engine noise even two different band-aid noise filters! Unreal. I’ve seen three examples but it seems to be a trend of desperate customers coming from Joker’s to get their installation fixed at great expense. All their positive reviews online seem to be manufactured… from what I’ve seen, they do not do quality work.
