I went in here on a whim after having to make a quick stop to a store in the mall. I’d been here and other places previously just to browse glasses but being that I am so indecisive I never found anything that I wanted to settle with. Today when I went in it wasn’t long before someone came over to help me. He was very helpful and attentive and instead of walking away to let me browse on my own, he was constantly there helping me pick out different pairs based on what I said I was looking for. At some point he did walk away to help some other customers which was cool because I was still only looking at the time anyway. After a good 30 mins or so I think I’d narrowed it down and he offered to go to the back and see if there were others similar to what I was looking at. He came back with 3 pair and one of them I really liked. So after going through a bunch of glasses I was able to narrow down to two pair and another female staff member came over to give me advice on the two. After all of my indecisiveness, I finally got a new pair of glasses. Initially he’d told me it would only take a day for them to be ready(while I am use to a least a week at other places) since they were about to close but once he went to the back to grab my receipts to sign, he came back and told me that they’d actually have them ready in 10 mins. So instead of just telling me come back anytime tomorrow, they were preparing them in the back while I wait as they close up). It actually took about 15 mins or so but that was fine by me seeing as though it saved me the trip of having to come back later in the week just for glasses. I can’t comment on the ease of scheduling and the exam process because I previously had my exam done elsewhere. But the customer service was good. I have no complaints from this visit and I’d probably return here in the future for glasses.

I spent $ 400 on a pair of glasses including the protection plan. After fewer than 14 months, they were ZERO help in fixing it. I got the runaround through their customer service«icare» and they never replied back even after several attempts. It’s apparent once they get your money, they will not be responsive. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Avoid.

Getting an appt is easy – do it online. It has always been and IN and OUT quick experience when seeing the Optometrists. HOWEVER, NEVEREVER get convinced into buying contacts from the Dr’s office. It is ALWAYS pricier here. You will ALWAYS find better prices. Yeah, they’ll tell you about the LOCKED Acuvue prices. What they don’t tell you is they charge too much over the locked price. If you look online, there are reputable places selling the same contacts for $ 30 less. And they get shipped quicker too.

The doctor I saw was really nice and helpful. That is the only nice thing I can say, though. I arrived on time for my appointment and waited almost an hour. I waited over 45 minutes for my follow up appointment as well. However, the reason I am leaving one star and will never go back is because of the terrible customer service event that unfolded right in front of me. A doctor and maybe manager/owner of this particular location(he claimed so anyways) came marching out of the back room to the waiting area to scold his staff in front of the customers waiting that they cannot allow anyone to use the restroom in the back hall. The lady that had just used the restroom was sitting next to me and he proceeded to scold her as well. He then started arguing with her about the situation and was extremely rude. He stated that it is due to patient privacy laws etc. I’m not sure I believe his argument as all of the patient files were sitting behind the front desk, but in any case he acted like a total jerk and turned something minor into a huge situation that it did not have to be. All the lady simply stated was that he could have brought the staff in private to tell them not to bring patients back to the restroom. It was extremely unprofessional and he ended his rant by telling her she could get her care elsewhere. I would have chimed in to tell him what a moron he was, but my mouth was on the floor and I was too busy being stunned by his behavior. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Had my exam a little while ago and finally had a chance to go back to get my new glasses. Great frame selection and the person helping me was really nice. They even took pictures of me with different frames on to help me make my final decision!

Insanely long wait. You’ll be waiting well over an hour past you appointment time to be seen. The Cumberland location messed up every step so I tried the Town Center location but it’s no better.

Gave them two chances, won’t ever go back. Will pay more to go somewhere else. The doctors were fine but the front desk is a mess. Went for my exam last Saturday and waited 45 minutes to get in. I asked about it after watching 2 people who got there after me go back with a dr. When I finally got to go back(which magically happened right when I asked) the doctor apologized for the front admitting they’re chaotic and had messed up appointments. I was assured that when I came back today for a contact lens check it would be «super quick, just taking a few minutes». I went even though I’m not feeling well, thinking I’d get in and out fast. Plus they wouldn’t give me contacts unless I went in for the check. After waiting 25 minutes and again watching others going in front of me(shame on me for waiting so long, I know) I went up and asked. The girl was extremely rude and said the doctor would get to me when she got to me. Someone one else stepped in letting me know it would be soon. One of the 7 people that sit behind the desk staring at each other, doing nothing, finally did my check. Not sure she was even a dr and don’t care just wanted out of there. Go somewhere else people. The doctors may be fine but the service is terrible.

Disappointing customer service and getting the store manager to listen to your issue(s) tends to be pretty difficult. I’d been lied to about the delivery of my glasses(they’d arrived but the factory made a mistake so the lenses needed to be reordered). Then folks couldn’t seem to check on if they arrived when I called. When I attempted to speak with Store Manager Josh regarding my issues, he still wanted to hand be off to another employee. I had to be a bit too insistent for my own taste to force him to listen. After a lot of excuses, I finally got an apology, but no discount(for the third pair of prescription glasses in two months). Josh is obviously used to complaints. There are other optical centers around including a new LensCrafters in the Outlets of Atlanta just north of Woodstock.

I’ve never been happier with an optometrist. I had to get an emergency pair of glasses after mine broke, and my optometrist couldn’t get them in for a week. I made the 30min drive to the Lenscrafters at Town Center and was met with excellent customer service, incredible selection, and wonderful people. Would recommend to anyone!
