I had an Oreck for ten years that I was very happy with. I took it in for an annual tune-up several years ago and was talked into trading it in on a newer model. The new one broke after a month, so I took it back to be repaired. I was asked if I wanted to trade it in on a newer model. I explained that this was the newer model that I had just traded my old one in for and had only used it a month and I needed that one repaired. It worked for a month and broke again. I became very ill and was not able to take it in for over a year. Well, the manager, who was very nice, had an answer for everything. The roller was not used anymore and needed to be replaced for $ 40. I told her it had barely been used and she countered that the bristles soften over time. It came back from repairs and still doesn’t pick anything up. I was given many other excuses that I won’t go into, but the bottom line is that I traded in an old-but-still-working vacuum for a lemon that cost me almost $ 200. They have«repaired» it twice and it still doesn’t work. I am done with Oreck. I think I will get a Shark.

Very friendly sales people and not pushy at all. Great experience. This is the best vacuum purchase for my carpet and tile floors and very light weight.
