Please, please — we LOVE Stilesboro Biscuits, but whenever we go in an there are no parents around, the food is cold and does not taste good — teach the kids any of the tricks you guys have to make it taste so good.

We have been wanting to try Stilesboro Biscuits for a while, and this morning we did! YUM! The old building and décor have lots of character — you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Pictures and memorabilia cover the walls, the tables and chairs are mismatched, and the atmosphere is friendly. The staff is super friendly and efficient. All that before the food arrives. I ordered an egg and cheese biscuit. It was fresh and hot and melted in my mouth. So good! My husband and I split a cinnamon roll (which we couldn’t finish — it was so big) and I have to say it is one of the best I have ever tasted! I may have dreams about that cinnamon roll. My only complaint is that they are only open from 7 – 11:30 Wednesday through Saturday. What am I to do if I get a craving on a Monday or mid afternoon? Seriously, you have to try Stilesboro Biscuits! (I’m glad they are a few miles from my house — it could be dangerous to my waistline if they were any closer. :))

I’ll have to agree with one of the reviews below… I’ve seen people there dealing with money then going inside the kitchen to grab condiments or paper products without proper hand washing (I have not seen them cooking after touching money).
The chicken biscuit was sold out. I had to order another one: o (
A little overpriced food, for the atmosphere and location.

Today was my first time stopping in. The cashier that took my order and cash immediately went around to the kitchen and started making my biscuit without washing her hands or putting on gloves. I had to tell her that I would prefer that the person working in the kitchen made it due to the fact that you are handling cash and not washing or placing gloves on your hands. I know this probably isn’t a big deal to most people but I know what is found on cash. The biscuit was ok but not worth the 5 dollar price.

Seriously a must visit on the third Saturday of the month! Blue grass band is in house and it just makes for a lovely morning. The biscuits are fresh and the cinnamon rolls are a must as well!

Stilesboro Biscuit is a really tiny place filled with a lot of character. I like looking at all the pictures on the walls and reading the fun signs. You can tell that the owner is very much loved in the community.
You have to stop at this hidden gem when you get a chance! I suggest to go early because there is always a line out the door. Whatever the wait is though, I promise it’s worth it! The biscuits are so fluffy and buttery! Simply amazing.

CINNAMON ROLL
This is hands down the BEST cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. I think there’s a touch of orange zest to the roll but it is so addicting. The roll is thick but fluffy and just melts in your mouth. Best item on the menu.
RED HOT SAUSAGE BISCUIT
My favorite biscuit here. It’s not too spicy at all although they say it is. Just a slight kick and lots of flavor. The sausage is actually a hot dog like sausage, cut in half and split… not a patty.
CHICKEN BISCUIT
Plain chicken and biscuit. Well done but it’s not for me. I need egg and cheese and more flavor to the chicken but my friend loves it.
EGG AND CHEESE
I didn’t have this but my friend really liked it.
GRITS
I didn’t add anything to it and I should have. Very well done but plain so I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. I’d ask for cheese on it next time.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this place is. I’ve been going here for close to ten years. The service is fantastic, the food is beyond amazing, and you really feel like part of the family, whether it’s your first time there or hundredth time here. You HAVE to go whenever you’re in this part of town… it’s tradition.

Best bacon in TOWN. Bluegrass music the last Saturday of the month. We went today (our first time) and they weren’t there, unfortunately. My husband and I shared a chicken, bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a side of gravy (we indulge). And I’m serious about the bacon– thick, meaty, perfectly cooked bacon. We also split a cinnamon roll. Great with a slightly orange flavor!

Their biscuits. Like Butter. And besides Bacon, what’s better than butter? I’ll wait… Right.
Went here on a Saturday morning and for some reason Google maps had me on the wrong side of the road. So be a little more aware of it, than I was. It’s a small house that packs a punch!
It’s a very casual spot. Perfect first date spot to tell if someone is too bougie. Little house. Long line. Short on tables. Big on taste! I only had the hot pepper sausage biscuit (don’t come here if you are cutting back on your bread.) It was not too hot at all. But the biscuit. The biscuit. I imagine whatever you get, the biscuit is good. Because my biscuit was GOOD! Its real simple. Stand in line, get to the register, order some meat option or even just gravy for you southerners on a biscuit, wait for it and when you get it, enjoy. Simple and easy and tasty. Yum.

Biscuits are my jam and Stilesboro has my favorite biscuits in the Atlanta area. A tad bit of a hike out to Kennesaw but totally worth it. I’m particularly fond of doing a hike up the mountain and then stopping by afterwards to gorge myself on biscuity goodness.
My favorite biscuits are probably the country ham biscuit and the pork tenderloin biscuit. Oh and make sure you grab a homemade cinnamon roll when you order. They are the size of an entire takeout container and are served warm with this awesome frosting. One cinnamon roll is big enough to share. Or keep for yourself if you aren’t the sharing type. I wouldn’t blame you one bit for not sharing the love.
The place is tiny and usually jammed full of bodies so you’ll be lucky if you can grab a table. Make friends and share a table.

This place is authentic and true to itself. A real foodie spot!
When you come, and it’s busy, there won’t be a ton of tables to sit down at. That being said its not a place for the inpatient or perfection seekers.
It’s about getting a good breakfast biscuit from good people.

I was fortunate enough to check this place out this weekend and I am so glad I did! There is private lot parking, and then you walk into what is literally a shack to place your order at the register. We must have showed up during a lull, because we walked right up to the counter and then a 20 person line formed behind us! One of my favorite parts was that the walls were covered in photos and news articles which I perused while we waited. I thought it really added to the nostalgia.
I’ve never had a biscuit quite like this since instead of flaky, it was moist and had more of a bun look to it but wow, was it delicious! I opted for the hot sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and I’m very pleased with my choice. The sausage wasn’t that hot, just had a little bit of a bang to it. And the egg was perfectly cooked with a nice piece of cheese on top (to be fair I think all cheese is nice, though). They have a fountain coke product drink machine, water, coffee, and juice. I’m pretty sure there was milk on the menu also. My friend ordered a cinnamon roll she let us all taste and I really enjoyed how different it was from a standard one. We decided the icing had an orange flavor to it, which played nicely with the cinnamon. The best part is nothing tastes pre-​made, it all tastes fresh out of the oven!
There are just a few tables inside and we were fortunate enough to snag one, but I’m told often it’s a grab and go situation.

Dear God and baby Jesus, thank you for the gift that is Stilesboro Biscuits.
Thank you for showing everyone that eats here what a real southern biscuit is and not that crap they serve at every drive-​thru window.
Thank you for crispy bacon, thick slabs of pork loin, peppered sausage patties and farm fresh eggs paired perfectly with melted cheddar cheese.
Thank you for smiling faces at the order counter, warm hugs by locals and classic bluegrass on weekends played by guys with beards that put all hipsters to shame.
Thank you for comfy rocking chairs, a covered patio for long conversation and a happy, welcoming owner, Lynn, that knows me by first name.

There is no better meal than breakfast prepared by someone who loves you and loves to cook for you. That is the very essence of Lynn and Stilesboro Biscuits. A Kennesaw treasure for the past 19 years, the crew here serves up handmade Southern biscuits like the kind my grandparents tell stories about. From the nostalgic shack that houses this tiny eatery, the tin roof, monthly Bluegrass band, and friendly service… it’s like coming to breakfast at the farmhouse.
Lynn loves us, all of us. She cooks for us like we are family and the business is HOPPING. When I say lines out the door, I mean that literally. Parking lot is full the entire time they are open, and most of these people have been coming here a decade or longer. If you’re lucky, you can grab a chair at one of the interior tables or benches. Otherwise, get your grub, give her a hug, and get your Noms on.
Now for the food…
A stereotypical biscuit anywhere else is either super moist and dense or flaky and dry… but whatever she does here defies gravity with a light and fluffy, super moist biscuit that presents a wonderful cross texture of crunch on the outside and creaminess inside. Biscuit nirvana.
The signature biscuits include the country ham with it’s wonderfully salted yumminess and make sure to try the smoked sausage biscuit. And by all means, get a cinnamon roll. They are made with the same biscuit batter and are simply out of this world.
You can’t ask for anything more at Stilesboro. A passionate owner /​chef /​community servant that simply does everything right. I love everything about this place!

Um, I kinda wish I hadn’t given this place five stars initially, because they deserve a bazillion star upgrade for their homemade cinnamon rolls. HOLY. MOLY. These things are a gooey, cinnamon-​y, warm-​frosting-​covered giant takeout container full of deliciousness. Their biscuits are awesome, but this cinnamon roll takes it to another level. Many people say «My mouth is watering just thinking about it,» but I literally just had to get up and get a snack mid-​review writing from recalling the taste of this roll. It is a must order, but I recommend sharing with a friend (it’s big). If you don’t bring your own friend, you’ll make one fast when you offer to share this cinnamon roll.
And, as if I didn’t love this homey, hole-​in-​the-​wall biscuit shack enough, they push one of their four tables to the side on (generally) the last Saturday of the month to make way for a live bluegrass band. In the tiny little restaurant, the music literally shakes the rafters, and I loved that the owner popped out with a real washboard from the kitchen and joined right in on some songs. And the band isn’t just folksy and cute y’all, they are darn good. If you’re a gospel-​y person, they will play a few songs that are guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye.
Stilesboro Biscuits is a gem, through and through.
