The Brows Threading & Brazilian Wax

I’ve had waxes done in New York & Los Angeles but I have to say for the price & wax job that this place is the best deal I’ve ever had! I got a Brazilian wax & she didn’t leave 1 hair behind. I definitely recommend this place and I am definitely returning.

If you care about your eyebrows then come here! You won’t regret it. All technicians equally talented.

Its really a shame, this place seems to be heading downhill pretty fast. I started going last fall and they were brisk and efficient, now it just feels rushed and flustered. I have a couple big problems that will keep me from ever returning:
1. They have started reusing the wax strips & sticks. This is so unbelievably unhygienic that it makes me cringe. My last wax, the young woman used the same wax strip for my entire Brazilian, underarms, and part of my upper arm. She only stopped using that same strip because it lost any ability to attach to the wax. Needless to say, after less than a week, my hair is already coming back. I’m assuming this is because instead of being pulled out by the root, they just broke off. VERY disappointing.
2. There is no semblance of privacy. I am not a shy person, especially when I’m getting a Brazilian– there’s no point. I do take offense when my wax is interrupted by employees throwing open the door and standing there with it open so they can talk to the person doing my wax.
3. Drama. Lately it seems like I’ve come in the middle of an argument, which results in me being essentially abused by the esthetician because she’s mad about something that happened before I got there. Very unprofessional. My last two eyebrow threadings have resulted in scabs because the woman was threading me so violently that I bled.
I wish I could say better things, because their prices are awesome and the location is easily accessible. But the prices aren’t worth the abuse, possible infection, and poor quality work.
