Waffle House

I’m sorry but being a Chicagoan completely deprived of Waffle House, I’m simply delighted every time I have the chance to go to one. This particular location is not very large, or very terribly clean, but the service was fantastic and quick and the menu options are just perfect for a Sunday morning in Kennesaw, far from home, a little tired, a little homesick, and very hungry.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg, hash browns covered, and a waffle. I was completely stuffed when I left. And grits! Georgia has grits! We don’t really have grits in Chicago and these were delicious, smooth and buttery.
It’s a diner, so I’m not looking for any kind of classy ambiance or impeccable atmosphere. I want a lot of mediocre food, served hot, with coffee, and like right now. This place delivered.

Waited ²⁰⁄₂₅ minutes only to hear our order had not been placed do we walked out. Then caught crap from the waitress like it’s my fault. Won’t ever walk in the place again.

Ordered the all-​star special for take out. Everything was good. Would give 5 stars if not for the unprofessional conversation on the phone.

This Waffle House is notoriously bad. Soggy hash browns, awful tasting grits, questionable staff. We’ve given it a chance multiple times out of convenience and always regretted it. You’re better off going 3 miles up the road to the one on the corner of 92.

The employees are always such big sweethearts here. I was saddened to learn last night that employees are not allowed to have visible piercings. I hope Waffle House soon becomes one of the businesses that stops discrimination against body modification, as so many other businesses have done. Other wise, keep up the excellent work!

Morning staff doesn’t know how to make biscuits, night staff is great but won’t answer the phone for to-​go orders. They actually disconnected their phone line while I was calling.

Two adjectives: LOUD and DIRTY!
It is so noisy with dishes banging around and shouting from the waitresses. The floors, plates, and chefs are dirty!
If you’re looking for a quick place to cure your hangover then this is the place to go to !
