I came here for the first time and I had recently had my wallet stolen so I did not have my insurance card in hand. I told the front nurses this and I told them what insurance carrier I had and that I could call and ask them for my insurance information. Well the other nurse was completely rude to me and spoke about me to the other nurse like I wasn’t there and said there was no way she could call for me because there’s just«too many numbers» to call. She just seemed irritated to do her job. So I said don’t worry I can do it myself. I was so livid at this point because I was also Ill that I sat down to fill out paperwork and then immediately said never mind, I’m leaving. Another nurse saw my frustration and greeted me at the front and apologized for the inconvenience. I’ll never go here again. Rude rude rude.

Here are some words to described Dr. Brenton: Rude, condescending, misinformed, and lacking basic reasoning skills. Here is how my visit went: Me: I need medication to treat my sleep disorder. I am switching doctors. Her: You have to see our sleep specialists for that. Me: I don’t have the money for a sleep specialist. Her: Your health is very important. Me: I can’t afford it. I am a single mom worried about getting my power cut off and trying to stay awake for my job. Her: Your condition is very important. You need to see one of our specialists. Me: I can’t afford the several hundred dollars for the copay. Her: Maybe it will only take one visit. Have you ever seen a psychiatrist? Me: You don’t need a psychiatrist for a sleep disorder. Doctors try to put me on antidepressants. I am not depressed though. I have EDS and Narcolepsy. Her: We can’t help you unless you go to see our sleep specialist. Me: I could possibly afford it in a few months. Her: Then I guess we can’t help you. Me: Can I at least have an antidepressant? I am worried about falling asleep while driving with my toddler in the car. Her: Sure, here is some Welbutrin. Take it with your coffee. It has a very rejuvenating effect! She didn’t help me with my sleep disorder, or my faith in humanity… but dang is it good writing material for my future book: Dear Doctors, Money Is a Real Thing to Real People.

I came here for my first appointment a couple of months ago. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when it came to filling out my new patient forms. It didn’t take long for the medical assistant to call my name and take me back. She also was very friendly and professional. After taking my pulse, blood pressure, and asking me a few questions, the nurse came within5−10 minutes to examine me. I really like everyone here. I am glad I took a friend’s advice in coming to this clinic. The area where I thought it took a while was the lab. They made me wait 30 minutes just to take my blood. There wasn’t even that many people in line. There was probably 2 people in front of me.
