Wingate By Wyndham

Checked in on Saturday evening. First room had no heat. Ok. Second room had a very nasty bathroom. Third room we thought was ok. Get up on Sunday morning and no hot water. Wtf? Three strikes and you are out. Never go back to this poorly renovated hotel. I could have saved $ 40 and gone to any other cheap hotel. Or spent an extra 20 and stayed at hampton inn

The Wingate in Kennesaw is a pretty decent place to stay. I stayed in room 309 and the only issue I had was that the shower water was lukewarm for 2 days. The free breakfast is your basic Hotel meal, toast, bagels, pastries, banana, cereal, powered eggs, sausage links and the infamous pancake machine. Yup the joys of sugar! And of course, they offer sugary juices.
The front desk was friendly the check-​in process is quick and easy.
They also have the newspaper ready each morning the «USA Today».
So what did I really like?
The fact that they had washers and dryers and a fairly decent gym. The only issue is that the treadmill needs to be leveled and that they only have 1 machine for example 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 exercise bike and 1 multi-​purpose gym. Not bad at least durning my stay I was the only one in the gym.
Would I recommend this place?
Yeah absolutely!

People here are insanely uneducated! My husband and I use CLC to pay and this place accepts CLC but unfortunately they don’t know how to reserve a room for CLC! Ridiculous! Took our business elsewhere!

Do not ever stay at a Wyndham!!! I went to kennesaw on business for a few days. I decided to bring my two year old son and my pregnant wife with me. We had been trying to decide on a place to stay while down there and I talked my wife into the Wyndham. We drove 10 hours through the night until we got to our destination at about 10am I went in to get my room and the woman (if i could call her that because of her attitude) was very rude and treated me rudely after I asked if my room was ready she said «Not for You it isn’t» and pointed to a sign on the wall that said check in at 3pm… I wasn’t aware of the check in time but we left and decided to wait, around 1200 – 1230 my wife fell asleep in the car and started feeling pain in her legs. I begged the clerk to please let us in early and also called the Wyndham 1800 contact us number and even then I was told there is nothing that can be done. This is by far the most horrible experience I have ever had at a hotel and Because of my job I stay in hotels quite often. I suggest anyone in the area stay away from this hotel!!!

Only good thing about the place is the beds. The shower was gross. The Shower curtain didn’t close. There were stains on the carpet. The room smelt like wet dog and there was lip stick stains on the door frame of the bathroom like someone kissed the door. Strange. Will not stay here again if I’m in town.

I had stay nearby for work. I found this hotel on Unilocal.I read the reviews before making my decision. It was affordable, clean, modern interior, and the employees were nice. When I checked in, the front desk receptionist told to go have complimentary breakfast while she checks me in since it was about to end in 15 minutes. The one thing I didn’t like was it was hidden. I got lost getting there. But besides that, I plan on staying here when I need to.

My friend works for a financing company and they were kind enough to comp the room for us. Very spacious, don’t really like the location because there is only one way in and out but it is what it is. The bowling alley is right beside it, I live in the area and didn’t even know (might have to come back for a night!). The bath rooms are a little small, I actually worked at a Hilton before (even tho this isn’t one) but by comparison I guess you get what you paid for. The area is connected to a lot of activity. That can be good if you are visiting with your family and want to show them the easy access of town. GREAT ROOMS! Completely clean with a safe in the closet (we thought that was humorous). All things aside, if I needed to get a hotel room in this area, I’d defiantly spend my money here.

Very nice hotel but man is it hard to find! Google maps, my car’s gps and my phone’s gps could not find the address although I started out literally across the street from the place. I had to ask my husband to put me on the phone with the lady at the front desk for directions and she explained that people get lost all the time because the mailing address is a little off from the physical address. Nice to know…
After finding it and staying the night, my husband left his best suit in the closet. He noticed it a couple of days later and so I went by and… they still had it! 5 stars!
