Love both locations now in Oxford too! They have some wonderful wines and great atmosphere! The staff and experiences have been nice. Will continue to visit.

10% off wine tasting when you check in! I enjoyed my white wine dry flight. It’s certainly worth an in and out visit. The atmosphere was casual and easy going. Since its in the heart of the downtown area, I would gladly give it a rerun.

We bought a bottle of Chardonnay gold to take to portabellos across the street and it was sticky sweet and undrinkable. I think they even add sugar to it. It lacked any depth of flavor and the sugar just smacks you as soon as it hits you.

What a diamond in a lovely town. Wine and service outstanding. Raymond was a wonderful bartender. Must try the wonderful cheeses they offer

Love this place!!! Great wine if you like the funky stuff. If you are a Chardonnay and Merlot person this is not the place for you. If you like«different» wines, you will love this place. This is a great stop along a wine tour to kinda change things up a bit. Great atmosphere, very friendly service and some of the most unique wines you ever will taste. Good stop too for the large group of BYOB’s in the area.

If I could go to Flickerwood every day of my life, I would. The wine is fantastic. Moondance is my personal favorite! The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is super helpful and friendly. I’m 21 and look like I’m about 14 so it was nice to come into a place like this and not get glared at by the bartender. Instead, they welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable. The wine to buy by the bottle is extremely inexpensive for the quality. They offer cheeses and crackers and such to buy, but they come as a packaged good. This is cool because you can take the rest home when you leave, but it would be great if they offered small plates as an option. That being said, the add-ons are extremely inexpensive as well.

First of all the Flickerwood vineyards are actually in western Pennsylvania, up near Erie. Their selection of wine are not bad. Not a huge fan, but I did take note of a few that were above average. The Pinot Grigio was a full-bodied — unusual for that style. The MARECHALFOCH was both unusual and tasty. Pleasantly different red — semidry with a kind of holiday-ish flavor profile(for want of a better description). This is not a place for a serious vinophile, but it is a fun stop if your walking around Kennet square, with cheaper than average pa wine prices– which are more aligned from a value prop standpoint. Not everywhere has to be worthy of the highest praise. It’s a fun little place to enjoy some local(kinda) wine that’s different than many other vintners.

the wine tasting experience was great. i liked the wine and i bought several bottles of moon glow and bruiser. unfortunately, i opened my bottle of bruiser in September. Almost immediately had a rash all over my body. Two days ago i opened up moonglow. I experienced a rash, my tongue swelled, throat narrowed, both eyes swelled almost shut and my jaw swelled. i do not have this problem with any other wine. i only had this reaction with Flickerwood Bruiser and Moonglow.

We enjoyed our experience at the Flickerwood tasting room. It is definitely a unique experience with unique wine. They offer a very wide selection with pre-selected tasting menus or a build-your-own tasting flight. Flights come in tiny shot glasses which is once again unique but not preferable. I did not prefer any of the red wines, which was very disappointing. My favorite was the Moonglow wine… for those of you who like sweet white blends. My wine preferences usually lean toward the dry end, but this wine won my affections. It would be delightful sipped al fresco in the summer, perhaps with a salmon dish.

Wine is subpar as with most PA wines. Service was slow and the music selection was strange for a wine bar. The jalepeno cheddar was good though.

What a great spot for a relaxing afternoon. My boyfriend and I arrived on a slow Wednesday afternoon we both had off from work. The place has a really nice ambience and friendly atmosphere. The woman who served us was so helpful and a delight to chat with while we sampled our wines. We walked away with a bottle each of Moonglow, Kinzua, and Sweet Angel Red. I had a terrible time choosing which bottles to purchase because I loved so many of them. By the time we left, I think we had sampled almost all of the wines they offer(!!). Oh, and the wine slushy… I scoffed at it at first, but by the end of my cup, I was addicted. And the«Drink Up Bitches» apron for sale gave me a good chuckle… :)

What a gem! This place has it all. Good wine, fun people, great atmosphere, good music… what else do you want? We walked in for the first time and were immediately made to feel welcome. This is a tasting room for the Flickerwood winery. Here you can do a tasting of multiple wines, grab a glass or buy and open a bottle or take one out. The combinations are endless. You can bring your own food or they have some wonderful cheeses and chocolates that you can purchase. Ok so here we go snobophiles. Its wine. Wine has been consumed for centuries by everyone from peasants to farmers to emperors to kings and queens. Stop making it something it doesn’t need to be. Sit down, taste the work of someone’s hands and appreciate it for what it is. Saying this the wine here is good. I enjoyed both the Merlot and Cab Franc as did my alluring companion. We had a bit of cheese and a bit of chocolate and some theatre as well. The regulars here are a riot and welcome you into the asylum immediately. We had good wine, great fun and got to hang out with some cool people. All on a whim. Nicely done guys. Thanks. We will be back.

I had a groupon for a wine tasting for two, and a bottle of wine. It was about to expire, but I was able to convince someone to meet me out there. We each picked a tasting which included 6 samples. The tastings were organized by whites, reds, a mix, and then a mix of their sweeter wines. I’m a big wine drinker, and these were okay. I went in there hoping I would love them, but when it came time to choose a bottle it was tough because there weren’t any big stand outs. They were having a sangria Saturday that looked good, but I didn’t try it. Definitely a nice spot for a date, something different, and there are lots of restaurants nearby for dinner.
