Food was wonderful. Perfectly prepared and the view of the river was lovely. My hubby loved the fish and chips. I enjoyed the Southwest salad. We ate dinner there for three evenings and each evening something was a little off with the staff. No silverware on the table, out of on entre we ordered, they never checked on us until our meal was done, no water refills. To their credit it was a very busy weekend and we understood. We always tipped well. Note. Other people«locals«appeared to be getting plenty of attention, and that was irritating. I would eat there again, but don’t be in a hurry and be patient. The food was worth it.

Do not eat here if you want to eat in less than two hours on a slow night. It took 30 min for the waitress to take our order and there were only three other tables. It than took another 45 min four our food to arrive. The food is very over priced. I spent 20 for chicken alfredo that was very bland. Would not return here in the future

We were down by Clover island and needed a late lunch. My husband and I like to try new non chain places so after reading several decent Unilocal reviews, we gave it a shot . The view is great and the prices are reasonable. The bathrooms and restaurant were clean. Decent wine and tap beer selections. Although, the two Draft beers we had, either were from a dirty tap or a very old keg. The menu wasn’t expansive but had basic hotel style food. No spinach salads or homemade soups. If you are dining with a vegetarian or a person with sensitive stomachs I would not eat here. My husband ordered the turkey club and I ordered the Cod fish and chips. The food arrived hot and looked decent. My fish had a flavorful tempura batter and the French fries were also battered. It was tasty. My husband’s sandwhich, I’m fairly certain was spoiled. He could only take a few bites. It’s pretty indicative of the quality of a restaurant if they can’t make a turkey club. We ended up splitting my plate. Normally that would warrant a 3 star. But, the reason the Crows Nest is receiving 2 stars is the quality of our service. The waitress mocked us twice for being on our phones. Not just jokingly, but shamed us. The lady couldn’t of known that my husband and I just went through a series of stressful events that day and just wanted to take in a nice view at lunch and read on our phones. Never mind my husbamd and I were reading the newspaper on our phone, but the lady was rude. We brushed it off as maybe she’s socially awkward. Nope, she continued to make rude comments. My husband had ordered a second beer, the larger size, and because of the fowl taste from a dirty tap, he didn’t want to finish it. When the server asked if I wanted another beer, and my response was no I will drink his — the servers response was something I do not care to repeat. Both my husband and I were taken back at the lack of professional hospitality. Also, another worker came in an sat at the bar and gossiped for about 20 minutes, loudly. It was fairly inappropriate. I’d rather of gone home and eaten as, usually I eat out for service. This place could be decent

Totally surprised by this place. Clover Island Inn could really use a remodel, but don’t let that scare you away from the Crow’s Nest. Some of the best views in the Tri-Cities paired with good food at reasonable prices.

Beautiful views. Comforting woodwork & design. Conscientious service(!!!). Our bartender was Shauna. She is considerate, kind & charismatic. A welcome friend, it would, seem in a foreign location for myself. Due to the fact that I am a professional in the hospitality and service industry, I give credit when due always. Thank you, Shauna:)

*The Crow’s Nest deserves it’s own Unilocal page.* The Crow’s Nest restaurant is located on the 4th floor(top) of the Clover Island Inn( ) and has sweeping views of the water, bridge and sunset. The bartender, Sandi, is a HUGE ball of energy with a great sense of humor. Open Monday through Saturday(11 – 10) the restaurant has a small but varied menu of seafood, steaks and sandwiches. They even offer Hubby’s favorite Monte Cristo. The bar has a daily Happy Hour with $ 3 beer and awesome selection of wine. We managed to come on a day where they had a hundred bottles of Syrah open from a tasting party and were selling them cheap during HR. Needless to say, I tried many and was thankful for the room being close to the restaurant for when I had to stagger there later in the evening. Shift change came and Jean(the manager) tagged out Sandi so she could run out for a night of rest(aka partying). Jean was a wealth of information. She gave us details about the history of the river, Rattlesnake Mountain and a host of other tidbits. As always, Hubby and I were hungry and had to sample the goodies on the menu. First up was the crab dip. It had large chunks of crab and just the right amount of bubbly good sauce. A definite must-have if you come here! Next came the house salad with bacon and blue cheese crumbles. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and the condiments well prepared. For the main dish Hubby ordered the evening special — salmon with fettucini alfredo and veggies. The salmon was done to perfection, but the pasta was a bit on the raw side. My steamers(you know how I love steamers) were delicious. The white wine and butter sauce was perfectly garlicy and the little toastettes sopped up that tasty juice after all the little clams were gone. Come for Happy Hour, stay for dinner, get a room at the Inn.

Found this restaurant on line before we traveled to the Tri-Cities. Got a reservation for last Saturday. Put the boat in at Richland floated down river and tied up at their dock. Let me start by saying the view is fantastic. Had steamer clams that were to die for. Had the crab stuffed in Halibut that melted in your mouth. The highlife of the night was our server Jean. She made the experience even better. We plan on coming back and staying.
