I love Gesa. LOVE! I’ve been banking with them since I was eleven when my mom had me open a savings account. They’ve been with me through all my banking firsts: checking and savings account, deposits, withdrawals, new checks, bouncing checks(silly teenager), car loan, personal loan and recently mortgage. I’ve been impressed with the ways they’ve grown and kept with the times. I use their online banking frequently, and their ATM’s now allow you to deposit checks and cash at the same time. If you get a Colossal Checking account you get some extra perks(interest on checking account, ATM fees back, amongst others). I have to give a shout out Maria(sorry don’t know you’re last name) who works at the new branch on Gage. She’s always given me great customer service, even on the little things. Once my sister and I were out shopping and I needed to write a check for something(don’t remember what it was for, probably rent) and we stopped in at the little branch on Gage before the new one opened. Maria made sure we were taken care of from the beginning. Greeting, friendly, solid hand shake, offered water or coffee. Then she took the time to print, tear them from their perforations and staple my checks into a book. Why do I think this was a big deal? No one else at Gesa has done that, but she has every time. Within this last year I needed a personal loan and Maria was the loan officer working with me. I could not have been more pleased. Great job Gesa keeping the small town customer service vibe while growing all over the TC’s and keeping up with technology. I only wish you had a smart phone app, but meh! I’m happy with the services provided and will continue to tell people so.
