These guys are real slicksters. Their business card talks about finish carpentry and the like, yet they tried to sell me a pole barn. Being new to the town, I included them as one on the three companies we asked for estimates. These two young guys showed up in a tricked out purple Nova. They wore RayBans and expensive clothes and called me «buddy» way too much. I asked questions about the building code, and they knew NOTHING. I later found out from another builder that code wouldn’t allow the type of building I wanted, yet Royal Holland never produced an answer or called me back. Saved me the trouble of telling them hell no!

Highest quality work! John Cox has been in business in the tri cities for over 10 years and has built a solid reputation as a craftsman, too rare a thing nowadays. Although they mainly do much bigger jobs than ours, John gave us attention as if we were his most important customer! They did an outstanding job transforming our antique tile-topped teakwood coffee table to a smaller size to fit our smaller living room, a sensitive and difficult job. John improved the way I had assumed the table would have to be modified in a way that greatly enhanced the result. They also replaced a small glass window in our front door a custom crafted wood insert that matched our other door panels and redid the door. When we are ready for any remodeling, they will be the only call we make.
