If there is restaurant that had better phở I probably would still go her just because of the owners amazing customer service! He really rewards you for being loyal with his kindness and professional demeanor! I always get the beef and meatball phở and it is always amazing! I recently learned that there are knock off phở restaurants that use the wrong noodles and don’t even give you the lime and bay leaves! I was flabbergasted. They have big portions which seems to be a staple with phở. I also get egg rolls with peanut sauce as a treat for myself. They look at me a little weird, because it seems more traditional to do this with spring rolls, but I would slather that sauce on anything! I normally don’t use this many exclamation points, but I mean everyone of them!

I ended up here because Phở LE down the street likes to spontaneously close without any explanation or notes left for customers who drove across town. Having said that, I will never return to Yummy Phở. It’s boring, unexceptional and too expensive for dull food that I could prepare on my engine block. Also, the waitress must despise the service industry because it was an uncomfortable experience. At least I didn’t get food poisoning. I have given up on the quest of getting my Vietnamese fix in the Tri Cities.

Well, I’ve officially tried the top 3 phở restaurants in TC and Yummy Phở would come in second. Pros: The waitress was friendly and they offer lunch specials. That’s about it. Cons: Where do I start? Sigh… the PHO. Looked very aesthetically-appealing when she put the bowl down. There were dried garlic pieces and cilantro and good amount of beef and meatballs. The broth… the most important aspect of phở. It was subpar to say the least. I always try the broth as-is before adding a single item. It was very weak and plain with very little beefy flavor. The complex seasoning flavors we expect from phở were missing. After adding the bean sprouts and basil to the soup, there was even less flavor. The beef was not sliced thin like most restaurants(rare beef) but it wasn’t a brisket either. It was just thick sliced beef. The meatballs were fine, nothing great but not bad. Hubby tried to order the pork chop rice plate but the waitress said they didn’t order pork chop this week. Um… ok. So he ordered the chicken plate. Folks, I’ll spare you the picture. Just not good. Panda Express chicken teriyaki looked better. Lastly, the spring rolls. How can you mess up spring rolls, right? Well, try using thick rice paper and do not add any mint or basil in there. Oh and since there was no pork in it, they put in a little shrimp on each end of the roll so the center bites are only vermicelli noodles and cucumbers and carrots. For over 4 bucks, I expected a little more. Sadly, it’s a one and done here. At least for a LONG time. I’m hoping they’ll improve.

I ordered Chicken Teriyaki, but now I wish I had ordered one of the soup bowls(I think that is what the«Phở» was…). Other customers ordered the soup bowls and they looked HUGE! Their lunch specials go from 11:00 — 2:00 and only three items on the menu are reduced for lunch specials. Mine wasn’t one of them, paid regular price at 1:30PM in the afternoon. Now, as for the Chicken Teriyaki. I asked if any of the dishes were spicy. I was told that it could be made spicy. So, I said«Spicy it is.» However, I wasn’t given any«range of options»(i.e. 1 star up to 5 stars). Let’s just say, if you decide to order«spicy,» then expect your mouth to burn! I love spicy food and I generally order 3 stars or sometimes 4 stars. I think what I got was 3 stars, it was about what I like. The food server had no idea what the spice level was. It appears you get spicy or not spicy, but no range of options. Let’s just say, when I go to an Asian restaurant, I expect MOUTHTOBURN and SINUSESTORUN. I got what I wanted. It was served with a small salad(they gave you the dressing on the side, it was some type of rice vinegar dressing…) and noodles galore garnished with a generous supply of vegetables. Plus I got lots of meat. It was worth the $ 8.99 I paid. And, they give you REAL chopsticks to use, not those cheap wooden ones. Nope, you can’t take the chopsticks home. The tables are pretty close together. It wasn’t busy when I went, maybe four tables were in use. If all tables are full, might be a little crowded for me. I’m saying NO to the«Good for Groups» question because of the coziness of the tables. No fortune cookie here, but I guess that’s a Chinese thing and I guess«Phở» is Viet Namese… guessing… It appears from other reviews, that the PHOS are THETHINGTOORDER. No place to park an RV. This restaurant shares parking spaces with other businesses. I came here in a rental car.

I had the spring rolls, Egg rolls and Phò(Beef and meatball). I also had the coconut boba. The spring rolls were good but needed more shrimp and the peanut sauce was good but I personally don’t like the thick peanut sauce as much as the more liquidy type but they gave us the thick. The egg rolls were small but they were freshly made and very tasty. The meatballs in the Phò had a weird texture but still tasted good. The broth was good but not the best I’ve had. The boba was delicious! All in all it was good but I’m still on the hunt for a better spot in tri cities if that is possible. Also, there wasn’t one Vietnamese person working there lol

Yummie excels as a lighter lunch option. The daily lunch specials always highlight the most popular dishes which makes it a solid choice anytime. When I found this place it was my first experience with Phở. I enjoy the chicken phở with all the fresh veggies and spices. The shrimp spring rolls are top notch and the peanut sauce stands out. Teriyaki is average. Unfortunately, the dining area is relatively small so it can get cramped. Staff is generally friendly and the food comes out fast.

I ordered beef and meatball Phở, my husband had spicey beef phở, and we shared the pot stickers appetizer. First off, the pot stickers were not good, they cost almost 5 dollars, and we got 5 small pot stickers that were over fried, tasted old, and lacked on filling. Both orders of Phở were just, okay. Broth was not very rich, nothing was very fresh tasting. They lacked on meat severely, I had maybe 5 bites of meat in my «beef and meatball» phở. The service was really horrible, no one even came out from the back till about 10 minutes after we were sitting there, it was extremely awkward. We helped ourselves to menus by the register since we were sitting there for so long. Over $ 30 dollars later and really only poor things to say, we won’t be back. Very disappointing.

Staff was great. Food was pretty good. Was a bit disappointed that it was so salty. Not sure what was added in but it’s the saltiest phở soup I’ve had before. I had the chicken and my hubs the beef. Beef was even more salty. The hot tea we go though was great. Our noodles were also a bit over cooked. When you try to use your chop sticks they fell apart. I’m always a give a place second chance so we will be back in the future I’m sure.

While I did not particularly like the phở a few years ago, I have come around to it, or they improved it to the point that I enjoy and recommend it now. Probably the only place in town that actually offers tripe and tendon, if you actually like it. I don’t, but i appreciate the offering! I think its a little pricey, but not terrible. They have a great deal for lunch phở if you can take advantage of it. Spring rolls are tasty and dipping sauce is good. It has pulled ahead of Phở Le for my vote, so I give it 4 stars to reflect that. Nice big TV too if there happens to be a game on.

I had heard that this place had the best phở in Tri-Cities, so I went to test the theory. It did NOT hold up. The phở did not taste fresh, it was overly salted, and the meat in my «chicken» phở was anything but chicken(I think it was turkey). Now listen here! The best place to eat AUTHENTIC Vietnamese cuisine(including phở) is Phở Le off of Kellogg street. The proprietors are in fact Vietnamese immigrants who have been cooking Vietnamese food for over 29 years! They own 4 other restaurants in Canada. Bottom line: Do not go to Yummy Phở, go to Phở Le!!!

In my search for the best Phở, I found this place quite good. Ordered Phở Ga. the broth was good but, I’ve had richer broth. the chicken was great. The restaurant is a clean, modern place with a strip mall atmosphere. My overall experience was very good. this place is in my top group.

Quick service. Chicken phở was delicious. The broth was sweet but full of taste. Also enjoyed the pork spring rolls. Waitress was very nice, explaining the menu and differences of all the meals. Price was reasonable.

Let’s start with the good: the waitstaff is pretty friendly and we’ve come a couple of times before and the food(phở, mainly) was decent. The salad rolls are good. The bad and the ugly: chicken teriyaki was a nightmare. Poor quality meat. I really don’t know what parts of the chicken were used in this meat but it was all sorts of sizes, colors, textures, levels of rubbery-ness, and filled with cartilage and bone. The quality of ingredients seems low, at least in the case of the chicken and our other stir-fry noodle dish we ordered. I want a good phở restaurant to succeed here and I’m hoping they are open to feedback through this site.

Best Phở in Tri-cities although the ambience leaves something to be desired. That said when I crave phở that’s the one I want!

Soup is not too bad, but the broth is a bit sweet. Fresh spring rolls were just okay, but nothing to get excited about. Service was decent. Definitely better than the other place down the road.

This place lives up to its name! The phở is so yummy! I got the vegetarian with tofu to go and it came with all the fixings on the side. .Bean sprouts, lime, chili, and basil, also hoisin sauce. The vermicelli came on the side as well and kind of stuck together but softened up once put in the broth. So good! I just moved to Kennewick and had to see how the phở is. This place will definitely be one of my staples!

There is now great Phở in the Tri Cities! This place makes a decent variety of Vietnamese food, but the phở is delicious. The place usually seems under staffed(only 1 – 2 employees that I’ve ever seen) but the food is still ready pretty quickly. I’ve had a few friends go with me and get different plates(noodles, rice, meat) and everyone has always been impressed. I always go with a good bowl or chicken or veggie phở and have yet to be disappointed!

Since my initial review… more than 6 years ago, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who are super friendly. This is a family«mom and pop» shop in a smaller town and I’ve seen them struggle with staff turnover like any other restaurant. However, despite the waitstaff the food is what it’s about, and they have the best Phở in the Tri-Cities! Definitely recommend.

Really good and fair priced. I had the beef and meatball phở which turned out pretty good. Broth was great and the noodle were properly cooked(biggest pet peeve when they aren’t). Also looked like they have good weekly lunch specials.

**Sniff, sniff. Cough, cough** Man! I could feel a cold trying to take over, so I decided to try and nip it in the bud, and use phở as my weapon. I made a call to Yummie Phở. I asked for their best recommendation for a cold-fighting concoction, and they suggested their chicken phở, which had«lots of garlic», the woman over the phone said. I called my take-out order in, and they said it would be ready in 15min. I ended up pulling up to the restaurant earlier than scheduled, and my meal was already bagged and ready to go — that was in 8min after I made the call! I received a large container of the soup and chicken, and then a container or noodles(they had an odd smell… but tasted good in the ph), and a container of bean sprouts, mint, chilis, and a wedge of lime. Man, it looks like I had a few meals worth of yummie phở! So, with supersonic service, friendly & knowledgeable staff, and of course, tasty and fresh food, this restaurant was deserving of an upgrade to 5-stars. **update** I’m working a graveyard, and am eating the phở from earlier, and so far it feels like it’s fighting a good battle against the cold… I ended up throwing everything into a bowl and gulping it down(so that’s all the chilis!). It’s been yummy!
