AAA Tent Masters

Unbelievable. We rented through AAA for my wedding. During set up, we noticed dog or cat hair all over the white linens. We had a very short window of time to set up so we didn’t have time to contact them or get new ones. Instead we had someone lint roll the tables and moved on. After my wedding, we called to tell them to just give them a heads up that there was hair all over our table linens. Just a friendly heads up. Did not ask for money back or a credit. And the woman there became so defensive and rude. And kept repeating we should have called and gotten new ones even though our venue wasn’t open again until the wedding. We weren’t complaining. We were just giving her an FYI so she could check with the vendor that was used for my linens. Apparently she found that not okay, and decided to become rude and defensive. Never again will I use AAA for personal or business. Nor will I recommend them to anyone ever.

These people are a disaster !! If no stars were possible, then we would give them no stars. These people ruined our Lake Geneva wedding experience. On the day of tent setup the owner shows up in a quiet upscale neighborhood, on his noisy motorcycle, to direct his crew. Without permission, he drives on to the neighbor’s private property and tears up the lawn with his truck. Trying to sort out how they were going repair the lawn, led the neighbor complaining and threatening us with a lawsuit and the homeowner, of the home we were renting for the event, they were going to cancel our rental because of the issues created by AAA. When we told AAA that this needed to be resolved to the neighbor’s and homeowner’s satisfaction before we paid the balance, the AAA owner became belligerent and hung up on me and my fiancée several times (don’t believe what they advertise about customer service. a joke). By this time my fiancée was in tears about the wedding. As professionals in the event business, we had never experienced a company response like this ever. Further, when our wedding coordinator tried to resolve the problems, the owner made an inappropriate slur and insult to him. While the quality of the tent itself was ok, the «dance floor» was tacky looking and shabbily painted. The covering for the floor was littered with broken glass and not properly vacuumed after the installation.
We had also rented from Lake Area Rentals in Elkhorn, WI., and they were fantastic and very professional! While their products were slightly more expensive, we learned that you get what you pay for.
