Had a really bad experience here. Started out with the stylist criticizing my previous hair cut & color, then guessed that I was in my 40s (I’m 30– who does that?!). The dye job she did took 3+ hours and didn’t turn out how she intended. She offered to re-​do it but I’m a single mom and finding another 3 hours was not possible.

Have been to a few stylists there for over 2 years. When my regular stylist wasn’t available, I was comfortable with any of the other stylists. I have a lot of fine hair that needs to be layered just right or it looks goofy. Luckily I have always had a great haircut here. Emily was my last stylist and did a great job on my slightly angled shoulder length Bob (with layers). She was only available on Tuesday night which is not particularly convenient for a regular stylist but great in a pinch.

It looked okay, but if you’re trying to do something a little funky or unique this is NOT the place to go. Stylist Emily, refused to cut a simple Mohawk and said she was uncomfortable with it. This is an Aveda salon! Anyway, I’m sure typical hair styles are done well here, or maybe not… I don’t know. But I’m not going back to find out.
Update on 1÷10÷15…
at least she refused to cut it versus ruining someone’s hair. i was too harsh.

Awesome place! I took my daughter and her friends for a spa day. They had facials, mani/pedi’s, their hair styled and make-​up applications. The prices were reasonably, the service and results exceptional. I have tried other places in Kenosha but Marietta’s was better than any I’ve tried. If you have the chance, I highly recommend Marietta’s!
