My husband has been on the lookout for a new drum set for a bit and was hoping to save some cash. Enter Music Go Round. We’ve recently visited both locations and found that there are really good deals to be had, assuming you know your equipment and prevailing price points. We went to this location first, because he wanted to check out a kit they had posted online. It was the brand he’s always wanted, it was in good shape(some scuffs but nothing major) and the price was a lot less than new and less than what comparables on eBay were going for. Sold! The Kenosha location seemed to have less stock than Greenfield, but things looked to be a bit higher quality and less beat up. I’m sure that varies visit to visit as you never know what will be coming in the door. Kenosha did seem to have more/better hardware(stands) as well. At both locations, staff was pretty stand-offish. We were never asked if we needed help or if we had questions — it may be that they prefer to let people browse and check things out on their own?

I went In there for a guitar and they were really helpful since I was beginning. I left with a really nice guitar for a decent price.

Avoid this business. Very slow, lackadaisical customer service. Bad policies. They could care less about you as a customer. They do not respond to repeated emails, bounce you from one store to the other when refunding your money(which is only done by a guy who works at neither store and can only be reached by email). They did not refund shipping on a defective item, because that’s their policy.

«Spam filters» ate my contact form response?!? Sure. If you browse this place’s website, you’ll see that they push«email»(web contact form). It’s a black hole. They don’t check it and they don’t care what your experience with them is like. Over the weekend, I contacted them about an item. Online was easiest because they close early on the weekends. They never responded and when I had time to call a couple days later of course they«sold the item 5 minutes before you called.» Fine. Stuff happens and what I wanted wasn’t unique, but I received a so what? in response to a query asking them if they could make it right some how. No real apology or anything, just apathetic customer service.
