Odd Job Larry

Well I tried to hire odd job Larry and called and made an appointment to fix leak around vent stack. Jim called on the day of appointment and said he wasn’t going to make the appointment because he didn’t have a ladder to get up on the roof. He asked if I could send him pictures. If I could take pictures of the leak I would fix it. The only reason I wanted to hire odd job Larry is because I’m afraid of heights and will not go on the roof. Then he quoted me without looking at the job 300 to 400 dollars. That’s just a cop out for not wanting to do the job. A waste of time.

Called took the time to wait on hold gave them by information about trimming a tree in my yard. No one ever came. Called back again and she told me she would have someone follow up with me. No one ever got back to me! Don’t waste your time calling them!

Hired OJL for residential snow removal this year; they did a great job and I was very pleased! Excellent communication. Four stars instead of five only because I found them a little pricey. Recommended!

Kitchen renovations are an extreme inconvenience. OJL made my experience bearable. They sent daily and weekly updates so I’d know what work would be done and who would be in my home. They provided a temporary sink. Anyone who’s had their kitchen demo’d will understand the importance of a temporary sink.
OJL completed the work within the estimated time frame given at the start of the job.
I’m happy with my kitchen and received numerous compliments from family and friends.

We used OJL to do some landscaping and tree trimming/​removal and had the trim replaced on our garage last fall. I wasn’t pleased with the work or service at the time; they failed to remove two trees that were written in the estimate and the man who did the trim work showed up several hours late without apology and didn’t bring any supplies to do the job, was overall cranky and rude. We weren’t given a day or time for the landscaping to be done, they showed up without calling and scared the babysitter.
The reason why I’m writing the review now is that the trim is barely a year old and is now popping off. Not sure what they did wrong but it seems it should have been done well enough to last longer than one year.
