This was BYFAR the biggest antique mall I’ve ever been to. Idk how I got outta there with only spending around $ 10. Two floors of stuff. Sports memorabilia, glassware, dishes, figurines, cars, china, silverware, etc… Just a plethora of items. Will definitely be back as I could see someone spending a good hr or so there. Oh, and of course they had a cheese shop as well with a wide array of assorted cheese products and spreads.

Tired of your same old antique stores? Looking for a Sunday afternoon destination? Then why not slide down to Hwy 142 in Kenosha? Located a short 20 minute drive down I-94 south of Milwaukee or 45 minutes north of Chicago, Rustic Dairyland Antique Mall offer two floors of well organized browsing. Most booths offer small collectables with a few random pieces of furniture speckled throughout. The first floor is mostly nicer stuff with the«junkier booths» relegated to the top floor. There were lots of glassware and bric-a-brack to peruse; much of it had the Frau and I nostalgically remembering our Grandmas using much of the kitchenware. I like searching through«rural» antique stores when I get the chance. They are typically a different mix of wares than what we normally find in the city. Rustic Dairyland is no exception. I found a sweet 1930’s German pewter top bier stein with the inscription«Mann lebt nur einmal». If you remember your high school German, you will know that Drake was not the first person to pen«YOLO». Located just off I94 in Kenosha. Take the Hwy 142 exit(Kenosha Airport) and follow the signs to Bristol. Well worth the short drive.

We’ve driven by this antique mall hundreds of times(at least) but hadn’t stopped until this weekend. It’s a clean, organized gem of a place. Don’t expect much in the way of «high end» — it’s mostly smaller items of the collectable variety — think toys, glassware, brewery stuff, etc. That means the prices, for the most part, are pretty reasonable. I found that almost all of the booths were remarkably clean and well organized — not normally the case at places like this. Also, the interior doesn’t have that musty smell — it’s all wood so it smells like an up north cabin, which is awesome. The Mister scored an awesome German stein from the 30’s for $ 25. As a bonus, there’s a good sized cheese shop attached to the mall. They specialize in good quality WI producers and the selection was pretty good. There’s old cheddars, locally made sausages, pickles, jams and some knickknacks. Price points are higher than my local Sendiks but if you’re headed home to Chicago know that this is a much better stop than the Cheese Castle.

Three things to know if you visit the Dairyland Antique Mall: 1. It’s deceptively huge inside. There are two floors of knick knacks and assorted«antiques.» Items range from the mid 80s back to the late 1800s(from what I saw). Some booths are more organized than others and most booths do a good job displaying pricing and any discounts. 2. You will not have a cell phone signal in the building. I was told it’s due to the metal roof. Which is a bummer if you’re looking an item up or calling someone to see if they want something. 3. There’s a really cute snack shop tucked inside the building. There are mixes and jellies and cheeses and other tasty treats. Oddly enough, there are other antiques that are blended in to the snack items. There isn’t a lot in terms of big pieces of furniture. But there are a lot of great collectibles, records, etc. It’s worth the visit but expect to spend more time here than the outside of the building may let on.

I say this place has it all if you are looking for nostalgia. First time I have been here and it brought back so many memories. I bought two items cheese, garlic and onion baby dills and I forgot some sprechers root beer. Would definitely recommended this place. A little hard to find but worth it.

I’ve only been antiquing a couple of times, so this is a novice experience. It was a Sunday afternoon, and they had tables set up outside as well as the store open inside which I guess only happens once a month. I was able to find two pieces of depression glass outside(I don’t have a collection, untill now!) I got a great little candy jar and a ferry light. Inside it’s sensory overload, so much to look at, everywhere! But if you have gone antiquing before, I’m sure you’re used to it. I found a few interesting things that I considered like a vintage little circus music box(ONLY $ 3.50! I probably should have just got it). I did find another piece of glass that I decided I needed, a vaseline glass. It’s a candy/dessery tray that glows under black light — how cool is that?! They have a cool little store up front where you can get cheeses and meats, as well as sodas. We all grabbed some Sprecker rootbeer on the way out — I had a Puma Kola — KILLER! Love that stuff now! **Only bad thing was that my sister purchased two steins outside at one of the tables and then left them at the front to be watched while she was looking around inside and someone else went and claimed them. Luckily they handled the situation well and refunded my sisters money, and took down her info incase the person brought them back(although very unlikely). They should have taken a name, or an ID to hold the merchandise, or a number system… I’ve seen many different things before. At least they gave her the money back though.

ATTENTIONANTIQUESEEKERS: IFYOU’REDRIVINGAROUND, LOOKINGATYOUR UnilocalAPPONYOURPHONE, READTHISREVIEWBEFOREYOUSTOP. This place was much more like an indoor flea market than an antique mall… It was packed full of little glass collectables and a hodge-podge of single dishes and bowls, salt and pepper shakers, pictures, and stuff that I can regularly find in my local salvage place. Oh, and most of it was very over-priced. The place also reeked of scented candles… most of the items were what you could call«country décor» and items from the 70’s… It you’re looking for furniture, this is not the place. Salt and pepper shakers? Absolutely! Cheese, Avon and scented candles? You bet. Plastic jewelry? Tons… I’m all about quality and that’s why I love antiques, but this place was more like a huge garage sale. I’m giving it 3 stars, because there’s nothing wrong with the place, but if you’re like me(a snob looking for really good stuff), you can definitely skip it.

I LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE! Huge place, lots of inventory, helpful staff, good cheese shop inside, nicely displayed, not sure why other reviewer said looked like a flea market, it’s very nice inside, it’s a huge modern barn. GREATPRICESTOO! Follow them on facebook and they posts the sales they have. I could go here weekly! I do go there 2 times a month with the inventory changes.

If your a big antiquer and collector, this is the place for you and me. I’ve lived around area for quite a long time and didn’t realize this hidden antique palace was even in area. The outside looks like a barn but once your inside, it’s truly a hidden treasure!!! They had 2 floors full of antiques and collectibles. I love to decorate for holidays but not with new décor, everyone could do that, I like antique décor, so I found many, many items for my decorating plus some extras, and my girlfriend left with 2 antique tables for her home, We ha d a great time the atmosphere felt like being back in time, ohh and I saved best for last, the prices were the best I’ve found in area!!!

Now this is how you run a Antique store. Everything is beautifully displayed. The store is clean and the staff is helpful and courteous. Like a lot of Antique stores, different vendors display their wares in designated areas around the shop. The place is neatly organized and items of interest are very easy to find. It looked like there was something for everybody in this vast area that was full of nostalgia. I ended up with a nice piece of baseball history. In the late 50’s, early 60’s the Hartland Statue company made hand painted baseball statues. Unfortunately, they were high priced toys for the era and the kids who bought them usually used them as action figures and destroyed them on sight. There are very few of them left. I ended up finding one of the rarer ones at a bargain price. It’s a wonderful addition to the sports collection in my mancave. Here’s the bottom line: Even if I didn’t purchase anything, the Rustic Dairyland Antique mall is a wonderful shop to browse through. The items are beautifully displayed, the staff is helpful and shop is well organized and clean. The entire shopping experience was quite enjoyable.

Not a bad place for an out-of-the way antique mall & partial cheese shop. What a great combination, Huh… The staffers are friendly. Which is a plus.

Just to the west of I-94 in Kenosha lies a small, unassuming, barn-like structure. You might normally pass it without a second glance. But! This is no ordinary barn-like structure! Within it holds a glorious antique mall and cheese shop(hey, this is ‘Sconsin after all, you GOT to have cheese somewhere, right?) The antique portion is called Rustic Dairyland Antique Mall. And it is two floors of fabulousness. But just when you have been exhausted and overstimulated by the vast amounts of stuff, you are then transported into another world of delight — this time for the tastebuds. The cheese shop is called«Tim and Tom’s» and they have pretty much any kind of flavour or type of cheese you could ever hope for. I come for the habanero cheddar, which actually has a bit of heat to it, unlike the pansy ass pepper-jack you usually see. The prices here are what I like to call«personal good». This is the kind of thing you should spend money on if it is for yourself or yourself and a good friend. These are not the kind of prices where you come to stock up for a party. So set aside a few hours and make this a stop. Either way you wont be disappointed!
