I loved the décor here. its fun and very cozy. You just feel relaxed when you sit down. Its a small place, and a little pricier than a corner diner, but worth it! I had a sandwich and«green pepper» soup. Yum! I had a nice waitress and i tipped her well cause she was awesome. I was there at lunch and I can see it would get busy in there because it is small. I believe they had like buffalo burgers and what not. Check it out. it will make you want to roast some smores!

«No Buns! No Pickles! No Crackers! And NO Crabby People!» GOSH I have fallen in love. I’m DEFINITELY not the ‘hick type’ but this place does everything right, especially being family-owned. The ambiance fits perfectly and transforms the space into a Confederate’s ‘home sweet home’ cabin; including an outdoor woods feel, animals, and Country music. Oh and don’t miss out on the«Outhouse»(aka Bathroom) which has chirping crickets! You wouldn’t know it was in a strip mall without walking through its front door. With every dish, we enjoyed our Indian Fry Bread with our preferred sauce and their delicious iced teas(blackberry, cranberry, peach or sweet – flavors often change). For dessert I tried their infamous S’more with their french-toast tasting, homemade graham cracker exterior. Carry out is more common than dining in. This time I heard about their Saturday special which often sells out. Chuck Wagon Chicken Pot Pie! I said it right! Some locals bring their casserole dishes the night before to have Savannah’s prepare their family Saturday night’s dinner. The perfect party dish! All the host has to do is pick it up and put it in the oven before dinner. Or if you prefer soup, you can get a gallon of homemade soup for $ 20. Check out all your options at: . If you’re looking for a cheap lunch, take advantage of the Back to the Grindstone lunch. For $ 7.29 get all you can eat house salad, soup and Indian Fry Bread. They DEFINITELY do have the best, and I would say largest variety, of salads in Kenosha. Savannah’s is always adding new items to the menu and be sure to not miss out on their Weekly Specials. Can I ask for anything more!!! Oh, join their birthday/anniversary list and get free stuff!(I swear they don’t pay me, I’m just a huge fan of theirs).
