Shagbark Apartments

This is my 300^th review, and I didn’t know what to do to make it special… so why not review a place I lived in for a year, that also happened to be my first apartment?
Shagbark is great. $ 705/​month got me about 750 sq. feet, cable was included, I had vaulted ceilings with a fan, a nice view of the field/​hill from my balcony, and a washer & dryer in the apartment. There is also a small exercise facility and a pool, a little playground and they feed you once a month for happy hour (free beer too). If something went wrong, which was rare, it was fixed promptly and correctly.
the only things I didn’t like were that there were some scummy people (this is Kenosha, there are a lot of them) living there and I’d have liked some air conditioning in the bedroom. Other than that, I’m sad I had to leave and move closer to work.
