Walmart Supercenter

Long lines, understaffed (majority are polite and friendly) dirty, low quality merchandise and just never a pleasant experience.

Good location for us, we stop here once to twice a week to stock up on a few things. Employees are courteous and helpful, manager is very kind. Store has been clean on every shopping trip here so far.
Truckers: park next to the Garden Center, there is a truck entrance off of 38^th street which makes it very easy to pull in even with your trailer, Sams club is also next door. Fairly close to the interstate, just a couple miles off I94.

discounted meat and bakery are great. bakery stuff is back by dairy. meat has yellow tags. Go early in day. They have out of stock on some things. I can get wild birdseed cheaper some other places.
Whole roast chik is good. their cheese pizza good too.
Men’s clothes are not much. But we find most consumer products we want at a good price.
Usually not much of a checkout wait. With Discover you can get cash back with no fee or interest.
I don’t know what some people dont like about them. I used to work for Kmart– I didnt think them very great. Dept stores around here don’t offer much more appeal to me except for clothing & shoes.

Who doesn’t like Wal-​Mart? This location is new and it is huge. There is also a Sam’s Club next door if you are that kind of person… personally I am a Costco Guy!
This place has everything… food…beer…TVs…RV accessories… toys… garden center… boating accessories… but of course most of you would know that. What I like about this place is that you do not have to pay Illinois Sales Tax and they have some amazing clearance aisles. There is no way that these clearance aisles would last in Chicago, it would be picked through probably within the first 10 minutes.
If you find yourself looking to waste an hour (it takes that long to walk around here), then I recommend you get off of the expressway and head on over here a load up your car full of stuff.

This is the new walmart in the kenosha area. Its huge and its nice. But its laid out crazy. usually when you grocery shop you also pick up your shampoos and things together. here you have to go to the other side of the store (huge store) but i think its a ploy to get you to buy other things. you know how they place those stratigic aisle end-​caps and you find a million things in your basket! GEEEEZ! Otherwise. its alright… better than going to the dirty old one on 52^nd street
Oh I forgot to mention the «reciept nazi’s» that check you at the door. after I just spent a fortune to support their store. hire more security for petes sake! Only Kenosha/​Racine treat you like a damn criminal! I see them checking grandmas reciepts… REALLY?!
