Great experience. We worked with Gary, who was low-​pressure and offered useful pertinent information. The price was good (nearly half of what Thompson Creek had quoted us), and the install was quick and good quality. We really like our new windows and were happy with our experience.

One star too many — NEVER EVER do business with this company!
I got window replacement estimates from 3 companies, signed a contract with Long Windows — the fence people. This guy Mike from American called, pleaded to give his estimate. I told him Long’s price, so he measured, gave a price, not surprisingly, $ 4000 below Long’s. I went back to Long and they matched his price, so I stuck with them: they are big, substantial, have credibility and resources.
Next day Mike called, I told him what I’d done, and he unloaded on me: You’re stupid, you get what you deserve, etc. I hung up on him. He called back a few minutes later: «Tell them I’ll do it for $ 2000 less than that…» I hung up on him again. Then he called AGAIN to yell some more. I hung up before he could get started.
Whatever you might think of a customer’s decision, you never insult him, never mind call him back repeatedly to drive your anger home. I can’t imagine what I’d have gotten into had I decided to give this hothead my business.
