Let me start with the positives by saying that everyone here is crazy nice and will openly converse with you and give advice unlike any other mechanics that I have been to. I went here because I couldn’t pass emissions from having my check engine light out in my guage cluster. He cleared the code that prevented me from passing by replacing the entire guage cluster and I did pass emissions. But the part he put in failed completely one month later. I investigated the guage cluster myself and found that he had installed a refurbished part but charged me for a new one. The guage cluster wasn’t even plugged in all the way causing it to fail. I ended up fixing this myself. Basically im giving three stars because im upset about being mischarged and faulty installation.

The owner, operator Jayson was not only under the weather but short staffed. He squeezed me in same day and didn’t gouge me with crazy made up costs. I love how he showed me the part that was damaged and got me in and out as quick as he possibly could! The old brick and dirt in that building was sending me warning signals but again the owner made me feel at ease and didn’t BS me. Thanks again guys at 212^th Automotive!

Took my car in to check for a oil leak, turned out to be only a loose oil filter which they fixed for free, not only that but they kindly rinsed off the oil under my car.
Very honest crew here, they did not even charge me for the fix.
After going to to a couple different shops ALL who wanted to charge me for repairs that had nothing to do with the oil leak.
Think I found my new main mechanics.
Highly recommend this shop, been to many in the area and this one is the real deal.

I had great service at this mechanic on two separate occasions. There seems to be good communication and coodination between the office staff and technical mechanics. Overall good experience and my truck runs as it should now. A good honest mechanic is a hard thing to find, I found one here.

This place is great! The mechanic was quick, honest and to the point. He told us what was urgent to fix and what could wait. Prices are very reasonable! The front desk clerk was super friendly and easy to work with. This will be our new go to place for our work and personal vehicles!

Best shop in all Washington. Period. I had a lot of work done on my old ’89 Camaro and every time I was satisfied. The shops would over charge me all the time. Even for little things like checking the check engine light. Great pricing for anything you need done at 212^th! Now with my new car 2001 Monte Carlo had a little work done and came back perfect. I love this place because they keep you updated with where your car is in the repair process. Also if any additional work needs to be done they will price it right away and get the parts really fast. The owner has been working with cars for 30 plus years.

I will be honest, I was a bit nervous having never dealt with them before, however they exceeded all my expectations. I had my timing chain, tensioner, air conditioning and water pump replaced. I compared prices and they were slightly less than the others. Jayson (owner) & Selena were very professional and helpful. I was even allowed to go in the shop to see the progress. The best part of the experience was not 10 minutes after I had paid my bill, I went to a local restaurant to get lunch. I locked my keys in the car. I called Jayson figuring he had all the tools necessary. He drove to the restaurant and got me in. Now that’s some serious customer service.

I used Jayson and his staff to check out a new van that I was purchasing for my company. Wasn’t the cheapest, but I knew I was getting an honest report. In the end he identified the issue (even the owner didn’t know) and I was able to purchase the vehicle and have him get it up and running. 5 months later the van is working great and I probably saved about $ 1000 purchasing it this way and having him work on it.

These people are AWESOME!!! our car broke down on Easter and on recommendation of a family friend we had it towed to 212 Automotive in Kent. From the moment we got the car to them they were thorough and informative. The office manager (Dena) looked up a bunch of information in regards to our car, engine and kept us informed of what had gone wrong. Dena and Jayson (Owner) discussed our options and were patient, friendly and informative. Jayson took the time to answer ALL of my questions about what would be the best route to go on finding a new car. They are so reasonably priced and even letting us keep our car there for a few days while we figure out what to do with it at no charge. If you are in need of a REAL mechanic who talks to you and make you feel comfortable this is your place! Highly recommend!

As a woman, I’m always leery about mechanics. This place was very friendly & helpful. They didn’t take advantage of my ignorance of cars & didn’t even charge me for a week-​long test of a possible-​malfunctioning component in my car. Highly recommend!
