American Frame & Alignment

These guys are more than frame & alignment, they can do the whole chassis. Tires, brakes, etc.
I went to American Frame to get my brakes checked today. I called and made an appointment first and was told that they would charge the shop minimum (about $ 50) to inspect and give an estimate (I was a little skeptical)… but that they would waive that if I went ahead with the work.
I showed up about a few minutes early, left my car with Mike and walked down the street to get some lunch (that review will be up later tonight).
When I came back Todd told me that while my front brakes needed new pads and some machining on the rotors, the rear rotors and pads were fine and could go at least another 20,000 miles. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn’t try to sell me anything I don’t need. The price was very reasonable and from the moment I gave him the go ahead, the whole thing took less than an hour.
The quote they gave me on tires was very competitive as well. I will happily go to them over the big stores when I finally bite the bullet on those.
The shop is big and while my sedan was getting it’s brakes done, they were also working on a sports car, a cement truck and a school bus. If you own a vehicle that needs chassis work, I’d call these guys.
Locally-​owned, honest and old-​school reliable. This is the kind of local business we need more of!

I’m pretty picky about where I take my car, especially when it comes to tires and brakes. I am so glad that I found this place. I’ve been taking my car and my husband’s truck to them when they need service for a couple of years now and I’m always so impressed with the service and pricing. The thing I like the most about this place is that I don’t have to worry about fending off a fast talking salesman who’s trying to sell me services that I don’t need. The guys here are really down to earth and just recommend the services that you really need, and let you know how many more miles you can get out of car before it’ll need service again. Oh, and every time I’ve needed to make an appt for service they’ve been able to get me in quick, same-​day!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I have gotten at American Frame. I’ve always been a bit nervous about car-​repairs because I really don’t know a lot about cars, but the guys always explain services to me, and let me know how much life I have left on brakes and tires. Saves me lots of money if I can extend the life! Their quotes are also less than other shops — and they recommend less repairs, too. I trust that they won’t try to sell me repairs I don’t need — and my car rides smooth and quiet. Ya! Customer for life.
