One of my favorite lunch places in Renton. Always fresh, always fast and always yummy! I love the sauce bar and the nachos you get during waiting.

Salad was ok. Nothing impressive to me. What bothered me was the dirty restroom. Nothing was stocked, no paper towels or toilet paper or soap! One restroom was out of the disposable toilet seats while the other stall liked like someone tried to stuff a stack of it in the container. I couldn’t get it out without dropping everything. What concerned me the most was no soap. So how does the employees wash their hands before going back to work?

Thought I’d try this place again after 2 years. Hoping I’d have a better experience but today my order was missing an entrée, also one salad was completely incorrect and cheese on items that were specifically asked NOCHEESE. I spent over $ 60 and it completely missed the mark. When I had to drive back to pick up items that were ordered & not included, I wasn’t even compensated for my inconvenience having to leave work and drive all the way back.

I don’t eat enough Mexican food to condemn this place or to praise this place. Mexican foods always taste the same to me with the salsa and the guacamole wandering around my palate. Baja Fresh is like fast food Mexican joint, like all of the reviewers say. The food portions are generous, and the salsa bar is quite entertaining as you can mix and match your sauce and your salsa. I ordered the burrito from here, and I nearly farted 100X due to the size of the burrito The salad is just freaking huge. Seriously, I had to eat the portion in 2 smaller serving sizes because it was damn impossible to finish up the entire salad plate.

This is a basic extension of the Baja Fresh chain. There’s really nothing special that keeps me coming back, save for the Shrimp Quesadilla. Ermehgerd! You can really taste the smoked grill-yness(yes I made that up) of the shrimp. They’re also super generous with the cheese inside and give you a generous portion. I’ve tried other things of their menu, but nothing sings to me like this particular entrée. Give it a try next time!

A friend claimed that Baja Fresh was really excellent food but it’s a fast food Americanized Mexican restaurant with small portions. Got a salad that was to be an entrée and came out the size of a small side salad. Skimped on the chicken and not much dressing. My friend got tacos which didn’t look like much at all but she claimed she liked them, even though she only ate half then seemed to forget there was any food on her plate. Food was excellent! Ordered one pork and one shrimp fajita plates. Added a large side of rice to make a great meal for 2 hungry people! Shrimp were grilled perfect and pork was tasty and tender! Fresh guacamole made the meal! Flour tortillas could of been cooked a lil better. Will be back!

Love Baja Fresh! Their salsa bar is the best. Make sure you try the chipotle kind. I really like that you get chips and salsa free with your meal like an authentic mexican restaurant. I have tried almost everything on their menu but I have to say I like their fajitas the best! I knocked 1 star off because everytime we go there, it is FREEZING in there. Turn on the heat please! Also, the manger I am guessing? made fun of me one time because I asked for no beans. He said I’d just have a bowl of rice and then snickered. Yes. I love mexican rice! Load that plate up haha.

This place is very over looked and underrated. The food is fresh, flavorful and the service is fear. The only reason I couldn’t give this location 5 stars was because there wasn’t a clean table to dine(we ordered take-out) and the place had to be below 60 degrees. First, the manager. I believe he was the only person in a blue shirt, while the rest of the staff wore black on black. He took our order as if he peeped the«first-timer» scent from the moment we came in. I wanted a seafood taco, and there was a conveniently placed poster right on the register for him to point to & explain each one. I chose the shrimp and avocado taco combo. Everything was fresh, a bit roughly chopped, but authentic and clean(the food that is). My favorite had to be the six salsa options they had! Tried the hottest 3, pretty legit. Although I’m glad we took our meals home, I was very pleased with the food and especially the service. Cheers Mr. Blue Shirt!

Update… Recently, it looks like my most favorite salad in the world has been made smaller! Much smaller! Super disappointed! I found this out on a day my boss was buying lunch. I placed the 5 person order for pickup. Not a big deal. He arrived and was told the total was $ 256!!! Obviously, not our order. They insisted it was his. I had to speak with the manager myself to tell her what we ordered and confirm to them his name was not David, and the 18 fajitas were not ours!!! Turns out they had our order the whole time. That process was about 15 min. My boss returned, I went through the bag to realize that my tostada salad was missing. I had to drive back myself to pick it up. I have never seen the place so busy. Line was out the door. The staff and management were all over the place, total chaos. I went to the front of the because I was already peeved I had to take time out of my lunch to get something that should have been in the giant bag with the rest of our items. I barely got an apology out of the guy that was helping me. No coupons, refund, NOTHING! This is 30 minutes wasted for $ 8! At least give me a coupon!!! This was very disappointing to me, especially to this location because I have been there many times. This really left a bad taste in mouth, not to mention the salad shrunk a quarter of the size. Big let down!!!

Had a craving for nachos so decided to try this place out. I ordered the chicken nachos, pretty generous for toppings but there wasn’t that much chicken. The nacho’s cheese is just melted jack, and I wanted the melted bad kind, which they have, and I ordered on the side. It came with even more chips! The pico de gallo is tasty, the tomatoes are sweet. They have an area with various salsas, fresh cilantro, and jalapeños. I think this place is the«healthy» version of Mexican food so it’s more about fresh foods.

I decided to try out Baja Fresh for the first time and was not impressed. The inside was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. But the food just wasn’t what i was hoping for. For mexican food or even tex mex; it was very bland. I had the Ultimo Burrito and felt it was seriously lacking in flavor as well as a weird consistency of the wrap. I feel like it wasn’t a flour wrap or even corn.(It could of been, but wraps aren’t that soft and flaky.) I could not tell what kind. I did like the salsa bar they had; but felt some of the salsas were also lacking in flavor, had very weird flavor and also had to much lemon in it. I know for fact I could do better at home. I could go back and try something different and give it a chance. But I feel it isn’t worth the drive nor the time. Julianitos down the highway in kent is wayy better for mexican; If you’re craving delicious and flavorful food for the same price if not cheaper than here. If you’re not big on flavor and like sub par food, then this is the place for you. I would have given one star if it was just for food impression; but service was quick and friendly and place was clean. How they became chain baffles me. If i do come back to try something different I will not be coming back on my own dime.

For a fast food place it lived up to the Fresh part of it’s name for me(especially since I try to eat as clean and healthy as possible). I got the BBQ Chicken salad and it was very good. Huge portion, fresh ingredients and good taste. Plus the chicken was«real»…not that fake pounded together to form a chicken breast product! The place was clean, the staff was friendly and the service was fast. To top it off, they give free chips and salsa. I’ll be back;)

Was excited to stop by, as it has been years since I’ve tried Baja Fresh. My memory must have built up my experience a bit, because this place was not up to the standards I remember. Hard to find parking, lots of construction going on around. Looks clean inside, till you sit at a table and find sauce caked on. Ew. The employees were nice, friendly. Took a few minutes to look at the menu, and my mom and I decided to split the two taco combo that came with rice and beans. I got chicken, she got fish. I think it was like $ 6.99? The combo comes with rice and your choice of black or pinto beans. We ordered to eat there. Food didn’t take long; oh wait, they screwed it up that is why. So had to wait another few minutes because they made 2 fish tacos, not one chicken and one fish. The tacos were tiny and soggy, drenched in sauce. I wasn’t aware that mine had avocado on it, as it did not say on the menu, so had to take that off. Also had some gross green sauce on it, don’t even know what it was, but tried to wipe off as much as possible. The chicken was one little strip, and the fish was one piece diced up with cilantro. The rice was great. The beans were OK, cold though. They have this cool little salsa bar with like 5 or 6 different ones you can try, and they have little containers for you to use there(orrr to take home full cups of salsa like I did, shame on me…) Some of the salsas are VERY hot, be careful. Probably won’t be back; much more worth it to drive a few minutes down the street for Chipotle!

I think it is absurd to pay over $ 10 for a burrito and a drink. The food quality is nowhere near what it was, or what the current pricing demands. The menu just doesn’t sit right with me — I really wish they would go back to the Original menu — the place would be packed! You’ve lost a loyal customer — never to return, Baja Fresh.
