Carpinito Brothers

Today I went to Carpinito Brothers to return some items that were not up to par. Not only did I receive replacement product, management bent over backwards to accommodate other needs as well. Kudos to GM Scott! I have been a customer for many years, with no complaints… Today solidified my loyalty to this great business! Merry Christmas to Scott and the wonderful staff and families that are Carpinito Brothers!

I look forward to the farm opening up every October, it’s one of the best things about fall in Seattle. Their roasted corn is amazing, and being at this farm during this time of year really warms my heart. It has definitely became an annual tradition to visit this farm every year during October for my family and I.

Busy, busy and need I say busy. Price is right the lines are a little long but worth the wait my radishes are super cheap there and they have fresh handpicked strawberries you can tell the difference the smell wonderful and are so juicy compared to the packaged. Also the floral section is great too

Huge fan of this place. Visited this place earlier in the year for flowers and plants but was über surprised that they had so much to offer. Fruits and veggies galore… and guess what soooo affordable

I cant think of any complaints about this place as my family and I have been coming to carpinito’s for over 20 years. We’ve gotten everything from bark to hanging plants to their fabulous, local produce. The customer service is always tops. It’s too bad I live somewhat far away, or else I’d buy all of my produce here. Love it!

Buy organic. Everything these guys spray ends up in the river, the sound and in the water supply. I watched Carpinito brothers plant their cabbage, they sprayed something, then two days later they sprayed something else. They spray insecticide for flea beetles and for cabbageworms. They might have used a chemical foliar fertilizer as well, in addition to the fertilizer used in the soil. Non-​organic fertilizers are chemically active, and available to the plants immediately. In fact, they act so quickly that they burn up the organisms in the soil. In a short time, this results in broken-​down soil devoid of life. When you add that to the fungicides, pesticides, and herbicides used in conventional farms, it is a wonder there is any life left in the soil at all. It becomes merely a substrate, it is no longer soil. Buy supporting non organic farming you do the earth and society a great disservice. Whatever they spray on the food ends up in your body and your children’s body. Even if you are not eating the food. Please support organic farming.

They have the best fresh produce around. Helpful and friendly associates too. You cant get produce like this anywhere else. Crisp firm green beans, beautiful beefsteak tomatoes. As well as perfect pricing!

You can’t beat this nursery for veggie starts and produce during the spring and summer. This is our go to place for all our gardening needs, and lucky is close to our work. Prices are reasonable, well worth a little extra drive if you are in the Seattle area. Highly recommend!

My mom has gone to get topsoil several times this week each time buying a yard but coming home with various volumes. Earlier this week it happened to her, it barely filled half the truck. When she asked the loader if that was it, his reply was «you only got a yard lady, if you want more you’ll have to purchase another yard.» So she did purchase another yard and it looked about equal to the yard we normally get. I witnessed the same thing today in the morning we got a yard of topsoil, a full yard; however this afternoon the man driving the smaller loader gave us a very small yard (?) Did not even cover the wheel wells on the truck. Very inconsistent loading volume! !!

The best! I hope they never get bought out by a housing complex!!!

Carpinito Brothers is my go-​to place for most things garden/​yard. It is well organized and clean creating a friendly environment in which to browse their merchandise. I’ve found that their prices are comparable to others offering the same product.

To sum it up: the produce here puts grocery store chains to shame.
While they don’t make any claims of being organic, or all natural, or anything of the sort — the produce is fresh, almost all of it is local, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Have you ever had a real carrot before? It’s so different from Safeway that it’s almost unbelievable.
Everyone that works here is usually pretty jovial and friendly, and the produce is AMAZING.
While it does mean that the end of their farmstand season is nearing, December is one of my favorite times to visit. Not only is the place filled to the very brim with Christmas Trees both flocked, and not flocked, but they have holly, mistletoe, poinsettias, wreaths and boughs to help you seriously deck those halls.
And on top of still having a bit of produce still, they have two absolutely adorable reindeer out back, free hot cider, fresh kettle corn being made on site, and a sleigh for you to take a photo in!
I wish this place never closed. Hint hint, Carpinito Greenhouses anyone?

One of the few «farm» stands that is open year around. In the spring they have great starts. I do like to buy fresh produce here — the produce is fresh and the prices are reasonable. In the winter, they do have real «reindeer» that you can visit. I wish they were a little closer and I would put this on my weekly shopping list…

Lots of good produce and plants look beautiful. I found the prices reasonable. Large selection of tomatos available. Seed potatoes were avaiable. The fuschia starters that I purchased are growing like mad and I am hoping for lots of blossoms soon.

$ 16.95 for a square yard (one big tractor scoop) of medium bark mulch dumped into truck bed is a super awesome deal that blows away bags from Home Depot.
Get in, get out and be done with your yard work already.

Stopped in today for the first time and am so excited to have another place to add to my repertoire of garden centers.
Carpinito Brothers had a great selection of early season plants and veggie starts. All very healthy-​looking. All offered at very reasonable prices. We bought some Lupine and some Fuchsia: our first plant purchases of the year!
In addition they have seeds, bulbs, fertilizers, bird seed, planters, and most anything else you’d expect to find at a proper garden center (including, if you are so inclined, landscape materials — mulch, top soil, gravel, etc. — by the bag or truckload).
Service here is friendly and helpful.
I cannot wait until and farm stand opens later in the year. And, will likely be back even before then to find more treasures for my garden…

I love this place. Wait until their farm stand opens — great produce — often times grown by Carpinito’s! The prices are great, and they even have chanterelle mushrooms in the summertime, which is a nice treat. Huge leeks, jumbo apples, brussel sprouts on the stalk (!!), cabbage (green, savoy, Napa), fresh herbs, squash seemingly all year ’round, and even local honey (local honey is known to help people who are impacted by allergies).
The prices are right — the people are nice (I think we’ve had the same cashier almost every time) and the selection is pretty good as well.
Since we moved here at the end of March, we’ve been lucky enough to get a lot of our produce from Carpinito’s almost the whole time we’ve been here. When they close down the farm stand in a few weeks, we’ll have to figure something else out — so a bit concerned about that!

Lots of seasonal farm goodies at a good price. We got many huge pie pumpkins towards mid/​end of November for just $ 1 each. We saw their cabbages and those were seriously gigantic sized cabbages, too! Some of the non-​fresh goods like commercial plastic wrapped, packaged fruit rolls in different flavors though were slightly more expensive than Safeway nearby my home sells for… so I assume your best bets on good prices may be on fresh/​natural products and not some other finished food products that they source from elsewhere.
Down side is. selection might be limited depending on the season you stop by. We went mid/​end of November and were hoping to get more goodies than just pie pumpkins but much of the space were already dedicated to pine/​christmas trees (as it’s entering into Christmas already)…so we didn’t find some of the things we would like to get :)
Oh well, next time whenever we have a chance to stop by this place again then! :)

This place hands down rocks. Went here for the first time to get a Christmas tree a few days before Christmas. They still had a huge selection to choose from in all sorts of varieties. Prices seemed fair and the staff were helpful.
Other holiday features this year included a whole huge room filled with beautiful pointsettias — red, white, pink, two-​toned, etc! They also had live reindeer, which were cool to see. Oh, and free hot cider too!
I also had the opportunity to check out the rest of the place and it is awesome. So much fresh produce and goodies to choose from. I had to keep myself from buying all sorts of items. I will definitely be back here during the summer to load up on some of my favorites (because I’m sure they will have all sorts of berries!).

Great prices on VERY FRESH QUALITY vegetables and fruits. Instead of going to the supermarket for veggies and fruits during the spring/​summer, I come here often. They have cabbages that are the size of basketballs. I love zucchini blossoms and they sell them here in season by the bunch. If you are a home canner, they sell flats and boxes of berries, apples, pears, tomatoes, green beans and corn. I particularly like the garlic they have because they are not small and old like you find at the grocery stores.
During the spring they have beautiful huge hanging baskets of petunias and quality vegetable and flower startups at low prices. They also sell soil and bark for your gardening needs. I only wish there was a produce stand like this close to where I live.
