Good food and cheap! Nice family run business. I usually order to go and they’ll have my order ready in 10 min tops! Even if I were to eat in the restaurant, the dishes come out quickly and always prepared perfectly. Egg rolls aren’t soaking in grease and spring rolls are always neatly and tightly wrapped. Definitely a regular when my sis and I sit down and the servers KNOW our orders :-) Veggies are fresh, the broth in the phở is tasty and the hot chili doesn’t taste store bought or «old» as if its been sitting too long. Always a no brainier when we have a taste for a noodle salad bowl or phở

Love this place. Affordable and delicious food. We get seated right away, and the food comes out fast. I’d recommend #10 to anyone.

A favorite phở restaurant in the Kent area. This place has delicious Vietnamese food at insanely reasonable prices too! However, their bubble tea is just alright, because it is powder. Nonetheless still a great phở restaurant!

I love there boba tea. Good price and always taste good. The tofu dish I got didn’t have any flavor to it I thought I would try something new. I love the banh mi chicken sandwich they have it taste delicious and they put a lot of meat in there.

If ur wanting tasteless watered down phở with complete lack of beefy star anise roasted onion infused broth then this is the place for you. Literally all u taste is MSG. The meat was fine. The size of the portion was average but it comes in a reasonably large bowl with broth and no wonder since it literally is watered down MSG liquid. The basil was washed and clean along with the sprouts which was nice. Other then that not good. If u want hot cheap liquid being called a phở then this is the place. If u want meaty beefy broth with infused herbs then go elsewhere.

This phở place is #1 on my top 5 list. We come hear 1 maybe 2 times a week. I order the same meal everytime & it’s perfect every single time. Thr prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get & the employees are great also. I would give this place a 10 star!

I’ve been here a couple times and I have always enjoyed it. I love phở soup and this place makes it good! I don’t think I have ever had anything else from their menu besides the soup. Everything is very reasonably priced as well. It seems like it’s a family owned restaurant, and everyone there was nice and polite. I will be returning here everytime I have my phở soup craving!

Our regular place wasn’t open on Sunday when we went here for dinner… We ordered chef combo phở and something else that was so uninteresting and flavorless that I don’t even remember what it was. The phở was bland and there was 2 extremely large pieces of uneatable cartilage in it. The chicken dish came out and it was barely over room temperate and the rice was crunchy. We also ordered the fresh roles which were decent and I have to say… the Mango smoothie was actually super good! The guy took our order and never came back to our table… we’ll never be going back here.

What can I say? I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Seattle since 2009. The food menu is good. The prices ARE just affordable. The restaurant interior? I am impressed, and I don’t say this a lot to Vietnamese restaurants. The inside is spacious and bright-lit. It looks clean as well! I will come back if I ever want to drive to Kent for lunch /dinner.

I love this place dearly. I come for lunch at least once a week, and bring my family in for dinner as often as I can convince them to join me. The food is very good, the prices are unbelievably low, and the staff is very nice(they even remember me and my usual order!). 1 tip– don’t sit near the door during the winter– they sell a TON of take out, and the door is always opening to douse you with cold air. I am not an adventurous phở eater, so I stick with the basic P1(large). I like to go with either a pork bahn mi or spring rolls with peanut sauce. All very good. Have also tried the egg rolls and the pot stickers, and enjoyed them was well. The lemonade is fresh made and amazing… my kids rave about it.

I live close to this place and probably go about once a month. It is my go-to place for Phở. Lots to choose from and it is very delicious and affordable Phở. If you are looking for a clean place with great service this is not the place. It really needs a new rug and new furniture would spruce it up a lot. Probably, wouldn’t get the great prices though. I have gotten up to get my own water and often times have to ask them 2 or 3 times for water. Ok, I drink a lot of water. I also still haven’t figured out what the standard is for closing out the bill; if I need to go to the counter to pay or wait for somebody to take the bill. Now, if there are more than 4 other people in the restaurant I go up front to pay automatically and usually the person up front at the cash register is able to find the correct meal ticket on her own. I would say that it seems like there are always 5 – 6 workers mulling around so not sure what is up with the service.
Came here with a large group(21) of people and were seated immediately because, one of our friends knows the owners and made a reservation. I ordered a large Phở(6.75 $) which was huge. Broth was great, I had the #12 — lots of noodles accompanied by tendon/flank/brisket. My wife had spring rolls and my daughter had c10 which was short ribs, broken rice, and egg and a strawberry/mango bubble tea smoothie. All the food was great and good portions. Even the smoothie was good. This is really affordable food. Our bill came out to $ 22.46(not incl tip) and we had leftovers. One of our friends, who are Caucasian, was also saying how great it was. One even ordered chicken Katsu(even though we all warned her), and it looked like what you would get at a standard teriyaki joint. The server took our orders and even split the bill — 6 ways from her memory! Very efficient order and check out process. Only minus one star for the lack of ventilation. Expect to come out smelling like your food, so don’t wear your«Sunday best». If you do, you’ll want to dry clean it or send it to the washing machine. It will not air out.

I eat here on a weekly basis and never wrote a review yet, so here it is lol. Cat Sang is my go-to place whenever I don’t know what to eat, or even when I do know what to eat I’ll still pick to eat here. I loveee Vietnamese food and can’t emphasize enough how great I think their phở broth is compared to all the other phở joint around the area. I actually know a lot of people from Kent/Renton that go to Cat Sang regularly and each time I eat here, I run into someone lol. Plus, their prices are so reasonable(actually really cheap) The C10, short ribs with eggs, rice & soup is also yummy! The only thing I steer away from is the bubble tea, I rather just go to Sharetea, Oasis or wherever they specialize in drinks. But, I really just get anything I’m feeling at the time, soup or rice dish and I’m always satisfied. + There’s a lot of seating. In fact, I’ve never once had to wait to be seated. Fast service and for the most part, clean. Enough said!

Very delicious and affordable Vietnamese good here ! Service is fast and the food comes out quick. The appetizers are decently priced so you can choose from the selection that they have My personal favorite would be of course the spring rolls which come with a delicious peanut sauce I really also like the quality of the food. It tastes like home cooked phở like I’ve had at my friends house«even though I am not Vietnamese» I recommend all who live in the area to come here ! One of the better Phở places in Renton !(:

If you want a quick fix for phở, this is the place you should go to. When I visit, I never had to wait for a seat. You can expect your food to come out in less than 10 minutes.(Unless it’s EXTREMELY busy, you’d probably want to add about 5 – 10 minutes to the waiting time) This place is your typical local phở restaurant. Inviting, and they give you complimentary tea on cold and chilly days. I’d say I’m a fan of their broth. Every time I’m there, it has been consistent. I always order the seafood phở small and it’s always tasty! I’ve also tried their vermicelli and rice dishes– they definitely give good portions for the price. It’s your average customer service, as expected, nothing spectacular. It’s that type of service where they politely take down your order and hurry off to promptly get your order in. You go up to the front desk to pay for your food, it’s not typical for them to bring your check to you. The price of the phở is also pretty cheap for a bowl, about $ 5.50−6.50 for a small and $ 6-$ 7.50 for a large. If you’re in the area and craving some phở, go ahead and give it a try!

I love this vietnamese restaurant! it’s my favorite! I always come here whenever I am craving phở. I always get the P8(noodles with flank, brisket, tendon, & tripe), the M7(beef stew with yellow noodles) or the C10(short ribs, egg & broken rice). over the years the service has gotten way better! they have gotten better at refilling waters and are very quick to take your order. the only negative thing I have to say is that they no longer give you 3 pieces of short ribs… instead they give you 2 :(:(:(:(. why not just up the price and keep 3 short ribs on the plate? thank you to the owner lady of this restaurant, she’s always so nice to me!!!

this is your OG Vietnamese restaurant with some of the best food. This is the hang out area for all the Asians in the area. Rice dishes and Phở are 11⁄10 would eat everyday if I was made of money Lemme give you a secret. Don’t get the normal strawberry(taste WAY too sweet), get that yung FRESH strawberry boba tea cause it’s way better

Typically any place that sells Phở and teriyaki, I steer away from. Just based off experience you can be a jack of all trades but a master of none — and I’m don’t eat for mediocrity. To my surprise the food selection is rather extensive for a smaller unknown spot on the upper hill of Kent. They have your typical rice and meat dishes as any other Vietnamese spot, Phở bowls, and of course teriyaki. Atop of that, they have Bun Bo Hue(spicy beef soup), Bun Rieu(crab based soup), Bo Kho(beef stew). Far from the best I’ve had in any category but they aren’t bad by any means. And due to lack of selection of Vietnamese spots(outside of Phở) they automatically win for best selection by default! I frequent here more often than not and as long as they keep up the quality and consistency, I’ll be frequenting here again soon!

Typical Vietnamese food. Nothing special about it. The prices are affordable and the service lacks sometimes. The phở broth is inconsistent. it’s a 50⁄50 chance that the broth is either flavorful or bland. The Bo Kho isn’t all that flavorful either. You can really feel the film of fat in your mouth when eating it. The bun bo hue tastes a little too much like fish sauce for me and the spice is lacking. If I have to go here, I will but I won’t go out of my way for the food.

Cat Sang is still one of the favorite Vietnamese restaurants. It’s worth coming from Seattle for the low prices and delicious food. PROS: Ambiance/location: Tucked behind what used to be The Great American Casino. Hole in the wall joint. Lack of décor but who needs fancy decorations. At least it’s clean. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of tables and booths. Service: Okay service. They’ll take your order but won’t really check on you. You have to wave them down to get their attention. However, everyone that works there are really nice. They occasionally yell at one another in Vietnamese. I find it amusing. Price: Very decent and affordable. Food: Very authentic with generous portions. I usually order the Bun Bo Hue(spicy beef noodle soup), egg rolls, flan and durian bubble tea. My husband will either get their phở or one of the rice plates. Our most recent visit he got the grilled chicken rice plate and added a short rib. The bun bo hue here is very simple. No pork’s feet, banana blossom veggie and tons of lemon grass. That’s how I like it. Simple. I love the broth. I find it to be very hardy and flavorful. They don’t shy away from the beef and pork roll as well. The flan is homemade and always amazing. Very creamy and smooth with a sweet caramel sauce. The durian bubble tea is thick, flavorful and does the trick for me. The egg rolls are very good. Smaller in size but delicious. Always very hot and freshly fried. My husband very much enjoyed his rice plate. The grilled chicken and short rib were tender, nicely seasoned and very flavorful. I’ll always come back!

Pros: prompt seating on a Sunday, food is good(bun bo hue, c12, beef stew). Large and cheap portions. Accepts credit cards. Cons: horrible service, not good for parties larger than 4 people. Staff are very forgetful. Location is behind a shutdown casino in a strip mall. And the place is generally dirty, floors had leftover food all over the place. Plenty of MSG in the food

Good food and good prices. Plenty of seating and parking. Our favorites are the Com Tam Dac Biet(special combo rice plate) and Bun Bo Hue(spicy noodles). Food comes out fairly quickly, service could be better.

Tucked inside a small strip mall is a lovely gem called Cat Sang. Not sure what that translates to, but it’s so delicious that if you fed your pet cat their food, it would probably start singing.(Thanks, I’ll be here all night) This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Kent! I’m surprised that I haven’t written a review on this place yet. I’ve been frequenting this place for about several years now and I’ve always enjoyed their food. My favorite thing on the menu is the Bun Bo Hue and OFCOURSE I have to get it with the pork blood to add some adventure in my life, lol! The rice plates are also delicious, I usually get the C6 I believe? It has marinated and julienned pork with an egg on top of the rice. The seafood phở is also pretty delish. I also like to order the taro or avocado bubble tea for dessert! The tapioca is always nice and chewy. The food is really affordable and the employees are really friendly AND funny. Always a pleasure dining here.

Good phở! Reaaaally good vermicelli bowls mmmmm. Decent bun bo hue. I wish their spring rolls were bigger! Opt out of the bubble tea and Thai tea(im biased and not a fan of powder boba so yeah). Always a good go-to since it’s close by, but I do get tired of eating here sometimes. Nothing too special but definitely not bad!
