Wow! Just wow. I love this place. I usually get the lunch special which is plentiful. It’s about 6.50 for amazing, hot, and tasty food. The naan is great too. Been a regular here for a couple of years and try to get here weekly or more. Try it! It’s worth the price and the people are super nice.

Curry and Kabob proved to be a good choice for lunch while we were in the Kent area. The restaurant is in a typical strip mall and you might assume you would be underwhelmed, but that will not be the case. When I walked in the appearance inside seemed very generic with a few Indian decorations scattered about on the walls. There was even a poster of Annapurna on the wall. When we walked in we were immediately told that we could sit wherever we wanted. I thought it was interesting that they had a lot of tables put together in the middle of the restaurant for a very large party. There are also many booths around the restaurant which were comfortable but had more of a country feel to them than something you might see in an Indian restaurant. The young woman came to the table with menus and talked with us about the specials they had. She left and quickly came back and brought us water. As we looked at the menu there were so many choices to choose from and it took us a while to look at the whole menu. Both of us were somewhat intrigued by the idea of having wraps at an Indian restaurant and were happy to see that they had them available for lunch. We both chose to get different wraps so we could share them and try different types. We chose to order the chicken and paneer wrap. We also ordered the vegetarian samosas. The samosas arrived quickly and were not only fresh but they were also light. They were not heavy with oil as you may find in many restaurants and they tasted as if they were just prepared. When you open them up you not only can see the steam rise but you can also smell the spices. Samosas are generally on the heavy side but these were not as heavy as most. They had a wonderful taste and the mint/coriander sauce they had went well with it. I also asked for some additional sauce and they brought a delicious tamarind and spicy sauce as well. All of the sauces were tasty! When our lunches arrived I really liked the unique way that the wraps were presented. Instead of using a typical flatbread they used Indian naan. Wow, this was a great way to make a wrap. I will be honest, I felt they could have put a bit more inside each wrap, especially the chicken wrap. It just looked like it could have used a bit more in it to look more appetizing. The paneer wrap looked more full than the chicken wrap. The bread was fresh and warm and not soggy at all. The taste of Indian naan really added an extra level to the wrap that made it more tasty in my opinion. The chicken wrap was mostly chicken and had some green peppers in it, onion and a white sauce. The paneer wrap had big chunks of paneer(Indian cheese) a lot of greens and rice. I liked the mix of the paneer wrap better. I also thought it was more filling than the chicken wrap. The mix of the greens, rice and cheese was a good balance with the bread and I also used some of the tamarind, hot sauce and mint/coriander sauce with it. I would like to come back and try some different food from here but I would have the paneer wrap again but I think I would pass on the chicken wrap. It needs to be more substantial. I think if they put some greens inside it would be perfect. The service at the restaurant was good and everyone I spoke with was professional and polite. We had our water filled up several times without having to ask and that is always good. She also brought extra napkins when she was we need them. I took off a star though because I felt the chicken wrap was lacking since it looked very skimpy in my opinion, especially in comparison to the paneer wrap.

Don’t let the outside fool you. this place is very satisfying. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly. Samosas so large and very tasty. I loved the seasoning on the lamb. We also ordered the cheese, which I cannot remember the name of now, but OMG It was soo good. Nice and fresh cheese. I ordered the butter chicken. The sauce was thick and an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I don’t know what the spices were but I have never had anything similar to butter chicken before. I fell in love with it. I enjoyed the rice because it was firm and separated easily, it was not all mushed up together. My BF ordered seafood curry and devoured it. I cannot write about it because it ate it so fast, I didn’t get a bite. So let’s go with that it was fantastic. I will be coming back and bringing friends.

Still great food and friendly service. Just updating some info. They no longer participate in the 5 star rewards program. However, they do have their own«Buy 9, Get 1 Lunch 50% with Free Mango Desert» rewards card. The nice Indian waitress doesn’t seem to work here anymore. But the new waitress is just as cool. They also redid the floors in the past year.

Best Indian food in Kent! I get the veggie pakora as an appetizer and it’s only $ 3.99 for a 6 piece of delicious fried veggies with mint chutney. If red curries aren’t your thing, the chicken vindaloo is great. I get the veggie paneer tikka masala. Mint chutney and rice has free refills!

This restaurant supposedly get five stars from me. But, I had to take one star away. Read on to find out why! My lamb vindaloo was legit, has the right amount of spice and good amount of sauce. The chicken tikka marsala was so flavorful and went down smooth… like buttah! I ordered a family meal for two $ 29.99 which includes: veggie pakora(deep fried cauliflower, potatoes, onions and spinach) two unspecified entrées(so I ordered chicken tikka marsala and Bombay seafood curry) basmati rice, naan, raita(chilled plain yogurt w/fresh shredded cucumber, carrots, tomatoes and light spices) salad and kheer(sweet rice pudding, cooked in milk and sugar, topped with pistachio). I also ordered chicken biryani and chicken tikka salad. All this was done through an ordering system called, «Eat24». All that totaled $ 50.52, easy peasy. Somehow, my gut tells me to call the restaurant. And so I did! The lady was nice, I asked her to tell me what she sees on her screen, just to see if she got all of my order. She goes, the chicken tikka marsala is ok for an entrée, but the Bombay seafood curry is an extra $ 5. I told her that it did not state I have to pay extra for that specific dish, it even gave me an option to select it. She asked her manager, he said $ 4 extra. I said forget it, just give me the lamb vindaloo instead. So I got there about 10 minutes later, after being on the phone with them, paid and waited about 5 minutes more to get my food. Not bad of a wait at all, considering it was their dinner rush. Got home, my chicken tikka salad doesn’t have chicken in it! Either they forgot my chicken or they just forget my «chicken tikka salad» cuz the dinner for two comes with a side salad. Anyway, enough with the rant about my chicken. I poured my lamb vindaloo onto the basmati rice, took the first bite and I hella bit into a wedge of lemon! FML! So bitter that I had to chase it down with the biggest piece of lamb lol. After what’s said and done, I would not order«take out» from this restaurant ever again, easy to mess up a semi big order like this. I would definitely come back for a real sit down dinner, though. Lamb vindaloo… is the ish! Oh did I mention I love this place, cuz it’s so close to my house?! Yeah!!!

It’s not secret that I love Indian food. My favorite(and that I can never find in the US) is Bengali. Coming here was such a lovely surprise. Very rarely do I find places that serve stuffed parathas. I ordered one with cauliflower. It was lovely, zingy, spicy and all the other things I require in my stuffed paratha. Best thing about the paratha? It reminded me of my cook Gauri back when I lived in India. *sniffles* I miss her and her food. I also ordered chicken saag — it was a bit creamier than what I am used to, but it was absolutely flavorful and delicious. There was a generous portion of rice that accompanied the meal as well. Would I come back? Absolutely! I’ll also bring friends along, too.

I ordered the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and garlic naan for pickup(via eat24). All three were delicious, flavorful, and in generous portions. But the best part was the service. When I arrived, their internet was down and the man helping me said they hadn’t received my order. He was genuinely sorry, and concerned. I placed my order again with him, not at all upset, but I decided to not order the naan. Ten minutes later, I came back to my food that was piping hot and all ready to go. And the nan was in there! The man said he’d received the order later and decided to give it to me anyway. No charge. And he also asked me to make sure I hadn’t paid online(I hadn’t) because he was worried about me being double charged. I know that naan is only a couple bucks, but this was a really great service experience. And I loved the food! I’ll be back for more, for sure.

Oh my, what can I say other than FABULOUS! I had the lunch special, Chicken Curry, with my good friend & coworker Jill… She raves about this place and suggested we stop here. I’m so glad we did. I drive by all the time and was curious but never stopped. Now I know what I was missing! I’m looking forward to working my way through the menu!

Before eating here, I would’ve said that I didn’t really like Indian food. But Curry and Kabab changed that for me. They lured me in with the Butter Chicken and then, after that, I was willing to try any lunch special. The Chicken Korma is my current favorite, but so far, they haven’t steered me wrong. Most importantly, they’re willing to accommodate any menu changes to meet your dietary needs. Want the Chicken Korma but trying the #meatlessmay challenge? No problem! Want more spice, less spice, no salt, more veggies, no tofu? No problem! Want a mango lassi with no mango? Ok, you’re crazy. The servers are incredibly nice and the atmosphere is pretty serene. And they now have a lunch punchcard, your 10th lunch is half-off. Considering my co-workers and I eat here about once a week, that’s not too shabby! I’d recommend you give C&K’s lunch special a try, if it’s the korma, it gives you good karma!

I’m not really big on Indian food but this gem definitely did it for me. I work in Kent twice a week and my colleagues love this place. So I decided to tag along for lunch. I must say, it was the best Indian food I’ve ever tried. I love spicy foods and I ordered a 5 which was perfect for my taste buds. The curry had a touch of sweet mango twist to it that gave it a very unique and delicious taste which went well the the hot spice. The garlic naan was really good and enjoyed dipping it in the curry. If you’ve never tried Indian food and want to venture out of your norm, definitely give this place a shot. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This is my first review on here but this place was so good I had to write the review in the restaurant. The service was fast and our waitress was kind and courteous. She stopped and spoke with us even pulling up the name of a song we couldn’t get. Anyway I live in Maryland and came out to Kent to visit friends and one of my friends suggested this place. Needless to say our experience was great. We ordered the chef special(butter chicken) my friends got chicken vindaloo and Punjab bakra and we all loved our food. Cooked just right and very flavorful. I would move here just for this restaurant!!!

We ordered the keema naan, butter chicken, chicken masala and the curry fish. The food was decent, nothing spectacular. I think the food would taste A LOT better if the waitress had a more pleasant attitude. She definitely was not happy and wouldn’t even crack a smile nor greeted us. It wasn’t as if she was busy because we were the only customer there! I would say the weird part about it was how after she gave us our bill(under $ 50) and we gave her our credit card she went and added a gratuity on it without saying anything. There was only 3 of us. I don’t recall it stating a gratuity would be automatically charged. If we didn’t asked we would have probably tipped her twice! We will never come back because her attitude really stinks and I rather tip ppl based on their service and not because it is required. Her attitude made the dining experience uncomfortable.
