Cuttin’loose

The rating above is not a reflection of the stylist. It is for the scheduler. On two instances, the girl told us one thing only to rescind when we arrived. The first time she called to change our appointment to another stylist due to a family emergency. I asked if the stylist would be able to do a specific updo and was told, «Yes, No problem.» When we arrived, the stylist apologized and told us she didn’t know how to do a waterfall braid. Then said she wasn’t here the day we were rescheduled to her and wasn’t ever asked if she could do the hairstyle.
The second situation happened today. My other daughter came in to get her hair done go a dance. We only had an hour window of time. I called several days in advance to bump up her appointment a half hour and was told that our stylist was open and it was fine to arrive at the new time. When we arrived however, we were told that another person was added and we wouldn’t be seen until our original appointed time. The scheduler implied on both occasions that I lied and was not apologetic at all for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, my daughter didn’t get in until ½ hour before she was supposed to be at her destination!
Although I like the stylist we came to see, I will NOT be back. Beware of the scheduler. I can overlook this happening once, but twice in two weeks is simply unacceptable.

A Kent Staple… Shonnie has been cutting hair there for a number of years but you wouldn’t know it because they keep it so fresh! But beware climbing the hill to the parking lot in the winter can be a challenge if you have a typical college bucket to get around in with bald tires LOL!!!
