Elegant Hardwood Floor

Very sketchy experience. After three requests, Bob (the owner) refused to give any estimates or pricing information. I asked for hourly rates and gave detailed information about the job, but of the 5 contractors I contacted, he was the only one who would not provide rates or an estimate. He wanted to come to the house, so I scheduled an appointment, but when I again asked for some basic pricing information to compare with other hardwood contractors, he canceled the appointment without explanation.
Every other contractor contacted, with the exact same message, has provided details regarding their estimated rates and materials costs. Of these I picked one to come out and provide an on-​site estimate, but «Elegant Hardwood Floor» was evasive and sketchy. Buyer beware.
