Extra Storage in Kent, WA should be nominated no. 1 for their customer care and service. My first contact, although it was over the phone was first rate. Phone calls which followed were always professional, helpful and consistent. Elaina and Christa went the extra mile to ensure my needs were met from day one. They were attentive to my personal needs, registration was quick and transparent, communication style was effective and positive. Facility is easily accessible, clean and well lit. I am glad to be doing business with ExtraStorage of Kent, Washington. Thank you!

Reserved online originally. System stated someone would call within 24 hours. Before I could log off I had received a call from Crissa. She answered my questions. I was in need of help and wanted to know if I could do lease paperwork early. She came up with a solution that would fit my needs. She looked for a unit that would help me out with my moving company as well. Great customer service fom her and Alana (Manager).

We chose Extra Space Storage primarily because of the price – we shopped around for the best deal and this is where we decided to go. Plus, excluding the one-​time admin fee, insurance, and purchase of the lock, you get the first month FREE!!! The staff provided great customer service – very friendly, willing to answer any questions I had. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were not able to use a disc lock we already owned. The units I saw (including the one we are renting) require the short cylinder lock which you can purchase at Extra Space Storage for around $ 16. We tried looking elsewhere for a better price on the short cylinder lock, but it was a tricky endeavor and it was hard to find what we were looking for; therefore, we purchased the lock at Extra Space Storage.

The facility is clean and staff are very friendly. If you go now, there’s plenty to choose from. The monthly rental $ is reasonable. There is one thing that I wish I knew before going. There’s a mandatory insurance fee on top of your rental fee. The fee is fine, but wish it was said up front on the web. Which is why I give them a 4 star. (I will update my review every 6 months)

This is the first storage unit I have rented. The actual rental time was very quick and painless. They have a variety of sizes to rent to fit your needs. They are brand new so nice and clean. The prices are fair and no contract.

Made our reservation online when it asks how much value you are storing, I filled this out with the correct amount. I also spoke to a CSR on 2 different occasions, however once I got to the facility I was surprised and frustrated to find out we were going to be hit with additional costs for insurance. I think they should have been more clear and upfront online and on the phone with these charges.

So worth the wait. The unit has easy access, well lit, and nice inside. Very happy with the customer service and I don’t feel over charged.
We moved from a different self storage that was dark, dirty, and over priced.

This is a brand new facility, and I haven’t even moved in yet, but the girls at the front desk were very friendly and very professional. Impressed already!
