Kent Station

I am not the biggest fan of outside malls but that being said I think Kent station has a lot going for it! Though on the smaller side.
An ok amount of parking. Though sometimes hard to find a spot during peek hours.
Lots of dinning options from coffee and snacks to full dinner.
A nice movie theater.
Lots of shops for every price range.
I always enjoy coming here.
I have heard some say kinda sketchy or ghetto but I have never had a problem.

An outdoor shopping mall in downtown Kent that helps make the area feel a little less ghetto.
AMC is there to provide entertainment and there are many stores for both shopping and dinning. There’s an outdoor fireplace for when the rain is at bay, which can be really nice in the early summer.
There’s also a community college in the Station, which can cause a bit of a mess when it comes to parking.

Lots of options dining wise… A few good shops and always nice for just a walk with the one you love… One tip though… If you go on a hockey game night expect to wait on dining options…

Was visiting Seattle area this weekend from the OC and ended up at Kent Station for movie only at this AMC. What an absolutely charming place. Plaza was decorated for the holidays, awesome AMC with comfy seats. Cozy outdoor fireplace and great dinner at Duke’s. Wish I could visit more.

Kent Station, in a nut shell, is pretty great. You have the AMC Theater, lots of dining options with a variety in price, and adequate clothing shops. Although I just saw that they’re closing PacSun, which makes me sad because now I’ll have to go to the mall to see what they have. :(
I only frequent Kent Station because I get on the train here. The train waiting area is always pretty well-​kept and there’s always security which is nice.
Only reason I give them a four is because there is always bible thumpers screamin’ in front of the theater reminding you that you’re a shitty person because you like rap and didn’t wait til marriage.
Other than that, this place is great!

Kent station is the best. I go to the AMC all the time and the GameStop as well. They have a nice selection restaurants to choose from as well, very quiet and relaxing feel when you go to Kent station.

Kent Station is a small, outdoor mall with a community college, movie theatre and some restaurants.
I’ve been to the movies here a few times. The seats and sound don’t compare to the better theatres further north, but it’s an all right theatre.
I haven’t been to many places here yet. They don’t have any high-​end retailers, and the ones that are here aren’t my style. The restaurants are all casual. I’ve been to one so far and wasn’t impressed, but will check out others if they look good.
There’s a small parking garage with free parking and also a few parking lots. Minimal street parking is available too for 15 minutes only.
Traffic can get a little crazy during rush hour around here.

Chipotle? Pacsun? Bath & Body works? LOFT? Seattle Sun Tan? AMC movie theatre? All check, yep. Call me basic… it’s A-​Okay!
I love this newer addition to the Kent area, it feels… good…safe and happy. I like that, and I think most others would too… lol.
Anyways, one less star cuz I like to see some more 15 minute street parking, tho they do have a garage and a couple lots, but if you gotta jump out real quick for say… a burrito bowl at chipotle… it makes it a little difficult for a fast in and out.
So this is a good change if you don’t want to head to Southcenter, do want to be outdoors, and still have a nice selection of stores, eateries, and play. Kudos! :)

There are lots of dining options at Kent Station, in all price ranges. There is a state of the art movie theater, shopping, banking, and a parking garage.

The Kent Station is a newer and nicer outdoor shopping area and mall in the Kent Area. It’s located across the street from a County Couthouse, so if you’re ever here for jury duty — it provides a nice mental escape from the drab government rooms.
There aren’t very many stores, and the restaurants that are there include the usual suspects like Chipotle, but there is also a really nice mix of independent restaurants as well. If you find yourself on your Jury Duty budget, though, don’t expect to be able to afford lunch. The restaurants run closer to $ 13 per person for lunch and your $ 10/​day allowance will leave you hungry for more.
It’s a nice area and is always well maintained. Very clean, and the main roads are well lit. It would be a really nice place to walk around in the summertime.

Kent Station is a pretty awesome place! It has many different shops such as Game Stop, Coldwater Creek, Claires, and many others. There is also an AMC movie theatre… very nice theatre too. There are several restaurants and eateries including Ram, Johnny Rockets, Panera, Chipotle, Dilletants Espresso, Coldstone Creamery, Dukes Chowderhouse, Mama Stortini’s italian restaurant, and probably more. I have been to the movie theatre and most of the restaurants and eateries on many occassions as I live pretty close to Kent. I have had positive experiences at all of the eateries, shops, and the theatre. The only restaurant that I think is sub par is Ram.
It is a clean environment and sometimes they have events there as well as pictures with Santa for the kiddies at Christmas time. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is I think perhaps there should be more security guards around to help deter the mentally deranged and homeless people from hanging out there. Every time I go there I see at least one homeless and or deranged acting person there. Yesterday while at Panera bread in the morning drinking my coffee and reading, there was a man right outside the window pacing back and forth and kicking his legs out like he was doing a performance in a chorus line or something. On a positive note, if it’s a nice day it’s a great place to walk around, get your exercise and see the sites. Lots of benches too if you get tired and need to sit.

I go here every week to walk around outside on a sunny day.

Much smaller outdoor shopping/​entertainment area compared to similar places such as the Renton Landing. But it’s nice.
I’d say parking is limited, there’s only one real main parking lot and then some random ones in front of stores that are hard to get most of the time. The parking garage is also limited in parking as there’s a park and ride next to the Kent Station and some students can park there for their Green River CC bldg that’s across from there.
There’s a variety of restaurants but not so much in the way of shopping. There’s an AMC movie theater, so it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat and catch a movie.

I think it has a lot more potential with better tenants… but maybe that’s just me.
The restaurant selection is great. Chipotle, Cal’s, Duke’s, Panera, a pita place, a Thai place, Mama Stortini’s, and even a See’s.
The shopping, though? Meh. Not my bag. There’s a Chico’s, Claire’s, Zumiez, PacSun, and Coldwater Creek. I suppose I don’t have a superb suggestion on what to add… but when I come here, it’s not for clothes.
The AMC theater is great. Spacious and pretty clean. (Haha I remember when the movie theater was by KM!) I like the 3 touchscreen kiosks they have located by Johnny Rocket’s.
I go to school in Kirkland and work in Seattle and often take the bus/​train up. It’s really frustrating to be told that I can’t park in the parking lot, even though the parking garage is full because I don’t get there before 6:30am or after 4:30 pm. It’s rough.
All-​in-​all, it’s a nice, centrally located spot that’s family– and date-​friendly and has a LITTLE something for everyone.

Nice open-​air shopping area including a big AMC Theater and several restaurants. The shopping is pretty much targeted at women – not much to offer the guys here. I wish Kent Station had a few more restaurants.
This is a pleasant place to stroll and shop. Also, it’s close to the Showare center, so shows and hockey games at Showare are very convenient.

Kent Station is such a joke! I wouldn’t even consider this place close to a shopping center. There are very few actual stores for shopping and what they do have are boring and don’t really seem to appeal to a wide range of shoppers. I had to spend a lot of time in the Kent area during my recent stint at jury duty and man would I have loved to go shopping during my 2 hour lunches. There are only so many times I could visit the LOFT store.
The only redeeming quality is the large selection of places to eat. There seems to be something for everyone.

Kent Station has really grown up the past few years. Since I work in Kent this place has become the after-​work-​happy hour spot. There is a great variety of restaurants and it isn’t too hard to find some good Gluten Free options.
I like that they tried to class up, basically, a strip mall. It seems like a fun place for all ages and in the summer I’ve seen concerts and other activities out in courtyard/​main square.
There is tons of parking, even a huge garage, which may also be parking for the Community College.

This is a pretty nice little shopping and dining area in the heart of downtown Kent. I go here fairly often as it is close to my boyfriend’s house. They have a good selection of restaurants and stores. We probably frequent O Phở & Teriyaki, Chipotle, and See’s Candies the most, but there are a ton of businesses here. There are counter and full services restaurants, a movie theatre, clothing stores, electronics stores, and a lot of other services like real estate, a branch of Green River Community College, etc.
Right near by all of this you have the train and bus stations that will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. We hopped a bus to the airport here once and it was super easy and convenient.
Parking can be a bit of a pain during peak hours, but we’ve always managed to find a spot (or we just walked there).

This is the southends version of The U Village. Not quite as upscale, but a good attempt. A few decent restaurants (Dukes, the RAM, Chipotle to name a few), movie theater and plenty of parking. The retail shops are lacking a bit, but glad to see Road Runner be one of them.
Located across the street from the KJC which is a perfect walk for those who are serving jury duty.

Had a few hours to burn after I landed in Sea-​Tac and used Unilocal!to find a place called Pizzeria Fondi, which had 4 ½ Stars, and located in Kent Station. Having never been here before, we were lost and to make matters worse, there was a city-​wide festival going on and we walked right into a Parade! It was hilarious…
Anyway, it turns out that the Pizza place we came all the way over to Kent for had closed 1 week ago! So, we stopped by RAM Brewery for lunch instead… that was a good move, I’ll write a separate review of RAM later.
Kent Station reminds me a lot of Town Square back in Vegas, which is one of my favorite shopping areas. I like how Kent Station has a ‘downtown’ feel to it with outdoor shopping. I also spotted an outdoor public fireplace where you can sit fireside and hang out with your friends… cool! I wish we had something like that in Vegas.
There are a ton of shops and restaurants to choose from, looks like fun.
Will I return? If I’m in the area, you bet!
