I don’t know where to begin when I first enter the store. Marshall’s has everything! And the prices are super affordable.

I’m giving a single star for the customer service I experienced. I picked out 15 items so I didn’t have to make multiple trips to the dressing room. I took in the max of 10 items and left the rest on hold with the dressing room attendant. When finished trying on my items I went to the attendant to ask for my other items and she had them returned to the racks. She said I could describe the items and she would retrieve them. I don’t know about other shoppers but I don’t memorize each item I just know I want to try it on. I went to get my items but had no desire to ask a woman to remove a cute shirt from her cart because I wanted it. At check out I explained the situation and the cashier said«well you better come back! I mean it come back!» It was strange and uncomfortable and the attendant didn’t apologize.

Many, many years ago; I actually used to work at Marshall’s(and this review applies to the location in Bainbridge/Aurora & the one near Beachwood mall as well) & I must say I don’t care for the path the company has chosen to go. Their merchandise used to rock– I could find the most unique, creative and amazing items there at a really good price & now they all suck!!! There stores are clean & a little more organized, but I think the company has attempted to create a cleaner/more modern image that has become incredibly cookie cutter like and boring. All the locations used to carry completely different merchandise from their neighboring stores; now they all have the same exact crap for months on end. Not getting any where near the variety & beautiful items they once sold. And their prices have also gone up a bit :(I used to rant & rave about Marshall’s but now… well, if I want something that’s one f a kind & at a good price I have to shop on
And, OMG, wtf is up with their women’s clothing selection??? Seriously, I’ve seen better clothing at Wal-Mart & I hate that damn store. The clothing is hideous!!!
