I ordered a large tendon and beef flank phở. I got 3 pieces thumb size tendon total and 4 stripes of questionable beef flank meat. This is my 3rd time dining in this phở place, it’s getting worse everytime. Never come back again!!!

Tried to order a vegan phở which is on their menu. They told me it’s made with beef broth.

Since I only ordered the Vietnamese beef stew, I can’t comment on any of the other phở offerings there, including their new spicy Hue phở. This stew also had the quite thin broth. But it was a very rich broth that was a bit different than phở broth: star anise or some similar herb was in there in small pieces. The beef itself was super tender and very flavorful. But there were only two carrots. :-( The bean sprouts seemed rather old as some of them were translucent and the jalapenos were dry. But the lime piece and the basil seemed fine. Okay, not my favorite joint, but the beef and broth were delicious and earned an extra star.

Have been coming to this place for the past 10 years, but was disappointed with the people working there and the food today. Not even a minute after we sat down, the waitress with glasses came to us and said, «You ready now? What do you want to eat?» Uh, okay. I told her to come back in a few minutes since we just sat down. Nope, she came back 30 seconds later and said,“You have enough time. Ready now?” Ordered our food and the old droopy man dropped off my Phở. Seemed annoyed when I asked if I could get our glasses of water, condiments, and extra bowl for my child. Young man came to our table and just shoved our plates to make room for his. Didn’t peep a word to us and left. For the remainder of our time there, they don’t check to see if you need more water or so forth. Instead, they stand around like hawks to see if you’re going to leave a tip on the table so they can snatch it up when they know you’re paying and leaving. Phở doesn’t taste the same anymore, burnt spring rolls, and the meat on the vermicelli plate was cold as if it wasn’t cooked at all. Hire competent workers that know what customer service is all about. Otherwise, your Phở is starting to go sour because of your current staff.

I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants in Vietnam and around the world, this place was mediocre. I was originally on my way to 108 a few doors down, but they were closed. I decided to check this place out. First of all the summer rolls were packed with bean sprouts but had no herbs at all in them. We both had grilled pork over rice vermicelli and both of us were not impressed. They used a lot of what looked like white lettuce, that had no flavor to it. The meat was okay but it was super thin and very dry. The noodles were actually cold, not room temperature and so they were all stuck together, the fish sauce helped to loosen them but the whole thing just seemed unappetizing. When I went to pay a bunch of guys just stood there talking instead of attending to me. I will not be back.

One of the best Phở in Seattle. I was in Seattle for 3 days but I tried Phở Restaurants every day. To Chau was the best. I want to give 5 stars for the food but minus a star for poor service. The waitress was OK but she was overloaded with customers. I wish the owner hires more waiters or waitresses because the restaurant almost always crowded. Our water glasses never be refilled although they were empty. My wife was happy with Bun Thit Nuong too. We plan to come back for Bun Bo Hue

We always end up here whenever my mom shops at Ranch 99. The location is convenient, but the parking is not. I always end up ordering beef short ribs over rice since homemade phở always tastes better! Sometimes the ribs are undercooked or overcooked. I don’t like having any pink in my meats, and it throws me off completely. The phở doesn’t taste very good, just bland. Affordable prices, and a nice staff!

I come here often because it’s so close by and I know their quality. I know the old servers well, and if you’re a regular, they got your order memorized. They recently got more new workers and service has gotten better. Only three stars because I’m «okay» with this place. I can finish my bowl happily and with content, but I’m not amazed or screaming for joy or planning my next visit. I like my soup extremely hot, but I never get that here. Other phở places I’ve been to serve hotter broth. Quality is alright, it’s like any other phở place. It doesn’t have that«clean» taste with super fresh ingredients like you found at Pacific Ocean before they closed down. One thing I like is that their portions are pretty big. They give you lots of noodles and meat. The broth is usually very good! Good spring rolls, good ice coffee, good vermicelli bowls, get bun bo hue somewhere else.

My bf and I go here all the time. There usually isn’t a wait and the food comes out almost instantaneously. The broth is flavorful and they give you a good amount of meat. The iced coffee has the right combination of condense milk and coffee, so tasty. Minus one star because they’ll frequently mop the floor with bleach and the smell almost ruins my appetite.

Nice broth flavors. Includes the appropriate added fried shallot and other touches. They turn out a ton of delicious soup on a daily basis and the place has been consistently wonderful for more than 10 years.

I ate here before and I think it was about 6 months ago? Where I thought the beef phở was actually pretty good! Came back here expecting it would still taste the same but to my disappointment it isn’t :(my biggest pet peeve is when I order phở and it comes out warm instead of hot!!! The broth was bland and literally still tasted bland while I added extra seasoning and fish sauce. I knew I should’ve went to the korean restaraunt inside the same building :/

Came to this place because there are so many… restaurants we want to try inside Kent’s Chinatown known as, «The Great Wall.» On this day, we wanted phở and we came here for phở. We also ordered shrimp spring rolls. The phở was bland with high cinnamon levels. Once it got delivered to our table and placed in front of me, I can tell by looking at the broth that it was bland because it didn’t have much color in the broth. So I put flavor enhancers: hoisin, lime and fish sauce to make it right. The meat, noodles and everything else was very good and after getting to the heart of the bowl and putting my flavor enhancers, it tasted really good. Surprisingly! Specifically, the meat was very tender and fatty, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the onions and everything else was not bad! I ordered a large phở tai nam. The shrimp spring rolls was one of the best we had because it had bean sprouts and cha in it as well; it was fresh and tasty. The service was not good, food only after flavor enhancers. The menu needs number changing because if you say you want to order number 2, it appears on different parts of the menu and you have to be specific like #2 phở is different from #2 appetizer We’ll be back.

The phở here is by far one of the worst I’ve had and pretty much tasteless and full of msg. And the service is congruent with the quality of their phở. The cashier is pretty sketchy and short changed me 2 out of 3 times. Although convenience I would still stay away from this phở restaurant.

Mediocre food and sub-par service. If you want okay Vietnamese food, look no further. If you want good Vietnamese, there are plenty of better options than this dilapidated corner of a run-down Asian strip mall. As special bonuses, you will probably not ever see a refill on your drink(even water) and at least part of your order will be incorrect or missing. Don’t worry, the staff will treat you like it’s your fault.

SO this place is a solid 3.5 but I say 3 because I have had better. But the price is fairly decent! I took my mom here and we got some Chicken Bun and a rice dish plus a Thai Iced tea for exactly $ 20 Small communication barrier if you are an American like I am, I asked for something and the older gentleman had to go and get the younger server to assist me. But I understand that’s just how it is sometimes… The Bun, I would NOT have here again, I feel like the vermicelli noodles were way to soggy like they had been sitting there for a while. We did have a rice dish, and what made this experience memorable was the beef ribs. Very good. Could have been a little juicer but it was still seasoned well and was good. Thai Iced Tea was ok, I gave it to my mom for the first time and she thought it was ok, and I tried it and realized it wasn’t very sweet in comparison to many thai teas I have had before. Oh Well, wont be getting that again here… The price was good here over all, I would come back here, but only if it was the only place open, I would prefer to take my business else where.

I ordered the chicken phở and shrimp fresh rolls. Chicken was rough and way over cooked. Fresh rolls seemed to be hiding oldish sprouts. Service was fast but I had to ask for water twice. Seems like they have a steady string of regulars and it probably helped that the noodle place next door is closed on Tuesday. I won’t be back.

Ouch. Decided to drop in one morning for a little brunch(they’re open at 10) and try the Bun Bo Hue(a new offering for them). I had been in only one time before and probably won’t go back. MSG City. Interesting thing about MSG, you don’t even know you’re eating it until a few minutes after finishing. Then it hits you. Racing heart, fatigue, feeling like your blood sugar is low. And its a very distinct feeling. Good bye, Phở To Chau.

I don’t think I will ever give a Phở restaurant anything higher than 3 stars since I am not a fan of Phở. I just don’t enjoy eating big bowls of soupy noodles at all even though they are filing. Maybe it’s because of all the MSG that are added into each and every bowl. I had ordered the Phở with beef and it wasn’t bad, but the soup was tasteless and I had to put quite a lot of hoisin sauce to make it tasty. This restaurant is nice on the inside with quite a few TV’s throughout showing various programming plus I liked the color scheme of the walls. The service was non existent as the only time they stopped at our table was to drop off our tea and water. You even had to walk over to the counter to pay your tab without them ever even dropping off your check. Talk about lazy and unprofessional to operate a business!

Phở To Chau has been on a roller coaster ride with me. The last few times, it has been on its way downward. With such a rocky relationship with so many ups and down, this is the straw that broke the camel’s back. The beef stew Phở, my usual, has been super tough and chewy while the spicy beef noodle soup just does not have the uumph anymore. Regular phở is still average though don’t get me wrong! On the other hand, I have discovered a new favorite replacement, Phở In and Out( ), located just down the street on the other side! Soooooo, it is time to say goodbye to an old friend and hello to my new friend! Everyone, please say hi to my little friend — Phở In and Out!
