Met Jeff and Matt and had a great experience learning some more about coffee and tasting some different types as well. The environment is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is awesome too!

We loved their Aviator blend which Geoff brewed for us on the spot. We bought two 12 oz packages. The environment is very friendly and relaxed– we felt special in the way Geoff took care of us and answered our questions. They had an eclectic mix of coffee supplies for sale too and we got a great Bodum travel mug french press. We hope we can go visit them again soon!
The spot can be a little hard to find. Loop around the commercial complex to find the entrance in the back!

Wow! The last year and a half has been great. And the truth is I owe at least 25% of it to the coffee at Rad Roasting. Do the math– that’s 1.75 days a week that you will hit the ground running a little harder. I couldn’t afford to go back to life without Rad Roasting in it. Can you?

Looking for great local coffee beans in Kent I found Rad online and my wife and I decided to swing by during business hours (which vary). Met Matt who was a great guy and we shot the **** drinking French roasted Central American coffee he pressed for us that was amazing. Also met his Goldendoodle Waffles who greeted us very enthusiastically. You’ll not regret visiting this hole in the wall shop at the back of the building off 84th (which soon turns into Central Avenue going South).
Really, you need to be buying your beans here. That said, if you are looking for the cheapest beans in town this isn’t your place, but if you are looking for the best look no further, and you can support a wonderful local business!

Went in with my friend, had a few different types of coffee to try. Jeff is very knowledgeable in the coffee process, where certain flavors come from, etc. Had a great conversation and loved the Carmen San Diego! COME FOR COFFEE, STAY FOR THE CONVO!

I’ve had my own counter top espresso machine since the 1970’s. I stumbled across Rad Roasting by accident shortly after they opened. I was impressed by their knowledge of the world’s coffees and even more impressed by their coffees themselves. I like to support small. local businesses but this was a no-​brainer. Wonderful coffee from such a tiny spot, much better than the local monolithic mega-​coffee company. Interestingly, a new multi-​location restaurant company in the Denver area somehow found out about them and, after trying them out (and a number of roasters) is now having Rad Roasting roast their coffee for their private label. An unrelated side benefit, given that I’m very tall, is that Matt and Jeff (owners) make me stand up straight.

Not many things better than fresh beans roasted to perfection. Thanks Matt and Geoff for helping me understand which combo of beans and roast match my flavor preference. I look forward to a roasting party with my friends in the near future.

Rad Roasting knows their beans! If you are looking to taste some amazing coffee, hear about the beans, blends, and experience personal service, Rad is your place. I am impressed by the knowledge and expertise they put forward and a fantastic cup of coffee too! I personally love the Carmen San Diego blend… but you will have to check them out to get your cup of Joe that warms your soul. Kent will never be the same thanks to Rad!

I don’t write reviews on Unilocal but I felt compelled after my Rad experience. These guys are deeply in love with making down to earth, unpretentious coffee. Reliable, excellent customer service too. I don’t need to describe all the flavors like some coffee sissy. The coffee just tastes good. And Rad.

Best coffee I’ve ever had! Options for dark roasts, light roasts, and everything in between. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be back!
