Gave me a window of arrival from 8am-​11am, he showed up at 8:05. Said it was going to take an hour, he finished in 45 minutes. Came in right at the quoted price, and the best part our ants are gone.

I had a carpenter ant infestation and tried to control it with an off-​the-​shelf posion, «Combat Ant Gel.» It killed some ants but plenty remained inside the walls (I could hear them). I called Terminix first for an estimate but I waited 17 minutes on hold so I hung up. I then called Sound Pest Management as well as 2 other places: Willard’s Pest Control and Pest Control Services.
Sound Pest Management had the best over-​all offer of price ($ 275 for a 1600 sq ft single level), guarantee (90 days), availability (that same week) and friendliness. The man I spoke with was, I think, the owner, Frank. He knew what I was describing and he was very easy to talk to. No abruptness or impatience.
Joe was my technician. He was friendly on the phone, and prompt at arrival. He explained things to me without condescending. He got right to work and finished quickly. He had some good suggestions on how to avoid further ant infestations — suggestions that didn’t require me to pay more money to his company. He was very easy to do business with. So far, the results look great — the service was performed yesterday and already I see a lot of dead ants. It will take a few weeks to be sure they are all dead, but I’ve got the 90 day guarantee so I feel set. Though they’re based in Kent, I live in Shoreline and it was no difficulty getting an appointment. I highly recommend this company.
