I really like the idea that there is a place that saves the landfills. Essentially, you, me, (the consumer) drives these recyclables to the facility. Styro Recycle gets your product, and presumably turns it into something from which they profit. I’m ok with that.
But, the staff do nothing to make this a pleasant experience. I had a car load full of goods. Two staff members stood there looking, not once offering to help. I guess that’s OK. But, if you should commit the sin of putting the wrong goods in the wrong bins, they are really quick to remind you to read what’s written on the bin, and admonish you for making that mistake.
It’s the type of treatment I expect from the DMV. Kind of leaves a sour taste.

I appreciate that there is a place to take Styrofoam for recycling but the new location isn’t as convenient or visible.
