Taco Time

I worked for this company for 3 years way back when and still to this day love the food! BUT… At this location the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Even McDonald’s has friendlier staffing! The rudeness and «get your order in and get your bad and get the hell out of my line» attitude is felt every time I go through the Che k out line. Except once. ONE TIME (out of about 20) a younger gentleman was polite and curtious. It must be an EXTREAMLY stressful environment with nothing but hostility towards one another in there to come across with such unacceptable customer service! I leave with a bad tast in my mouth almost every time.

Did I just pay $ 9 for a veggie burrito and mexifries?
No, I just paid $ 9 for shredded salad in a tortilla and tater tots.
I can’t tell if that was supposed to be sour cream in the burrito or if it was actually cole slaw dressing as I am suspecting. There was a 3 millimeter thin layer of beans in the bottom of the burrito and the rice was barely noticeable. I somehow don’t believe that this abomination can possibly have the 19 grams of protein that is listed in the nutrition information. Pro-​tip: Just because something is vegetarian doesn’t mean you can skimp out on the ingredients by replacing everything with a $ 2 bag of shredded lettuce.
Take your $ 9 and go to one of the many authentic Mexican restaurants in the area and get your money’s worth.

I ordered the chicken soft taco meal, and my stepdad got the habanero chicken soft taco meal. He said «I’ll have Coke or Pepsi, whatever you have,» to which the girl replied, «Oh we don’t have Pepsi. What do you want.» … Did he not just say Coke or Pepsi, or are you deaf? I know this job isn’t hard… I used to work drive thru at SBUCKS lmao.
When we got to the window is what really got me. Either the employee is selectively mute or she’s just rude. Either way, she needs to communicate with us so we are aware we’re signing up for shitty service. First she missed one of the two drinks we asked for, and then when my stepdad asked for another straw she just left the window with a blank face and came back with another one. And then my stepdad asked her a few questions (can’t remember what) and she literally didn’t say anything… At all… She just stared… And when my stepdad said «Okay, have a good night» she just shut the window… Like… I’m confused. I still am. When we first pulled up to the window she greeted us, so I know she knows how to talk.
If she wasn’t so rude, it’d definitely be like a 4 star.

This location is my favorite! Great management and staff are trained well unlike their location on Meeker! I come here every Friday per my families request

Delicious. Love the food and the especially the crispy tacos. They are a bit more expensive than Taco Bell, but way tastier.

We have many good meals here. Today was no exception, they were fast and friendly. Food was hot and fresh.

I eat taco time faithfully this is got to be the worst location ever first off I ordered my food and they tried to give me shit that was sitting under the warmer I told them no I wanted it fresh so they brought me my food and it was under cooked never again I beware you to not go to this location not worth your time!!!

Went into an almost empty restaurant ordered our food.
Tried to find a clean table, they were all dirty.
The Hot Sauce has changed, you could actually taste the dried chili powder, and that was about all you could taste.
Crispy Beef Burrito was not very good, kind of stale tasting on the shell.
The meat on my Natural Beef Burrito was better than it has been my last few visits.
The price is to high for fast food, for a few dollars more I could actually go to a sit down Mexican Restaurant and get Chips and Salsa and served.

This is a good Taco Time location. The drive thru service is quick and accurate and the staff is very friendly. I’ve only eaten inside once, but it was clean.
Beef crispy burritos are the best (as they are at all TT locations). Prices are higher than many fast food restaurants, but the quality and freshness of the food makes the prices worth it.

I go through the Drive Thru here almost weekly. Service is always good. Never an issue. Wish the parking lot were a bit easier to access. I cannot give 5 stars, prices are too high and just keep going up…

Love taco time. They are a bit more expensive, hence the 4 stars, but generally worth the price. They try to keep it local and that’s to be respected.
This particular location was fast efficient and delicious. I will definitely return!

It had been a year since I had been to Taco Time. My friend & I meet twice a month for lunch. We normally go to a full service sit down Mexican restaurant in Downtown Renton where they have lunch specials for $ 5.99. We are served a basket of chips & 2 salsas and we normally order the combo that has rice, beans, a taco & an enchilada. We normally have ½ our rice & beans and sometimes part of our enchilada left to go. With tax & tip the bill is $ 7.50. Yesterday I had the #8 combo of 2 chicken baja tacos, a diet coke & subbed sweet potato mexi fries. My total was $ 8.64. My 2 small tacos were small & flavorless. The sweet potato fries were interesting but I prefer the original. I can’t see paying $ 1 more for so much less food that I get at a full service restaurant.

OK it’s a Mexican fast food place that does provide limited table service (order at the counter and they bring the food out to you). Way better than Taco Bell and this restaurant has the best service of any Taco Time that I have ever been to. I frequent this one often, once a week usually and some of the staff know me by name or if they don’t they take the time to say hi. The food is good but somewhat bland for Mexican. I’m giving it 5 stars for the service and considering that it is fast food not a regular sit down with silverware restaurant.

This was my first time at a Taco Time. I’ve seen the commercials and have friends that like this chain. All I can say is Yuck! Their Mexi-​fries are basically microwaved tater-​tots, rice is dry, lettuce is wilted, beans are bland. There is nothing Mexican about Taco Time. You are better off going to Taco Bell.
